Can you not be completely useless for once? You are taking up valuable New York City real estate playing pretend government games and passing useless resolutions and arbitrary declarations while the United States once again has to get involved in stuff that they shouldn't have to be involved in.

we dont have to get involved. we choose to, under the disguise that we give a fuck about human life. were just taking this as another chance to conquer another piece of the middle east. the timing isnt what we want, thats why we are hesitating, but its not like we are being forced to do anything.

Regardless of what you feel is the moral obligation of a super power when things like this happen, the United Nations should be providing leadership here to stop atrocities like this.

First, we bomb the fuck out of them.

Then we maybe or maybe not send in kids from Alabama and Texas who couldn't get into or afford college to step on IED's and develop PTSD and appear via satellite during half-time of major sporting events looking wholesome and American and patriotic.

Then we destablize the government--so instead of somewhat friendly to the West dictators who keep the lights on and water running in these places while keeping the religious fuckery in check, the countries get taken over by religious zealots who want to institute sharia law and use U.S. foreign aid to set up terrorist training camps to strike back at the U.S. for droning and bombing their friends and neighbors...

Then we cut out and leave the country a mess, like we did in Iraq. At least in Afghanistan the plucky Afghani goat farmers straight up
kicked our asses, which they did to the Russkies before us and the English before the Russians....all the way back to Genghis Khan.
