I finally saw some of this ... AND, it's not like she did anything unique ... performances like Madonna's "Material Girl" or Tone Loc's "Wild Thing", were something to consider losing one's shit over ... some talentless Caller Bob grinding onstage with an apparent fruit basket isn't something to warrant the attention level this has gotten. Sure, it's more important that going to war in Syria, but still .....

Half those parents who are appalled at Miley's act probably have kids doing the same shit online.

You don't like plushies?

I saw some of it. Most of it was stupid and inappropriate at best. Jason Collins didn't belong there. Not a lot of talent, or good music. I don't know if the 80s were really better but I like to think they were. NSync should have done more. One direction should not have been booed. Maybe it's New York but it all just sucked.

I thought GaGa was fine. Her songs are usually catchy. The last two songs to close out the thing were the worst. Bruno Mars "Gorilla" & Katie Perrys "Eye of the Tiger-whatever" crap.

A plushy is a person who has a fetish for stuffed animals or people dressed as stuffed animals. They have Furry conventions and the sex acts are called yiffing.

My friend, you're just plain wrong ... Madonna pulled her performance stunt way the fuck back in 1984 ... that's EIGHT YEARS BEFORE Dan Quayle and his ilk would lose their shit simply because a character named Murphy Brown was having a kid out of wedlock on a schlocky CBS sitcom.

I think it's pretty clear that Madonna's temerity and gall FAR outweighs what this 20-year old petri dish on legs did in a world where any sort of sordid sexual activity (never mind violence, etc.) is simply, and literally, a mouse click away.

Somewhere in America Miley Cyrus is still twerking...

Some of you all wanted to have sex with her when she was 15 and she damn near looks the same now. I guess she's too old.

Next time Douchebag invites you to a rooftop and wants you to dress up like the Philly Phanatic, that's basically what the idea.

No tits, no curves, no hips and a pancake ass.

She looks like a gender confused 14 year old boy.

I guess when you get chewed up and *cough* spit out by the Disney machine and you don't have the chops to make it you must resort to such empty and desperate spectacles.

When her career fizzle, and it will shortly, her meltdown will be a sight to behold.

I completely disagree ... nothing happens in a vacuum.

We'll just have to call it a draw.

Be well, John Spartan.

Yup. I don't find her attractive at all. Throw her in the Taylor Swift bin. You could walk down Anywhere U.S.A and find 10 girls that look better than her in 15 minutes.

I agree, but be very careful with that logic. Lots of towns in Wisconsin and West Virginia consider themselves "Anytown." In a major city or a college town, then yes absolutely.
