Extras get paid a flat daily rate.

It can often work out to be less than minimum wage.

It's usually $100 if you're there for about 12 hours. Once it creeps past 16 hours, you may get like $150. Involves a lot of standing around. Bring a book, or your Ipad, because you're gonna be in for a long day where you may "work" for like a few minutes.
