Reporters? NO Maybe Jay but I don't know if his personality could carry a show and drive revenue.

Revenue is the bottom line. As long as advertisers flock to B&B, there is not end in sight for these two.

The reality, WSCR has no "bench". WSCR would have to go outside this Market for talent.

I realize these aren't popular picks, but I think Finfer, McKnight, and Randazzo have full-time hosting potential. I actually like Finfer better when he isn't paired with Mac. Randazzo and McKnight seem much more enlightened than someone like Matt.

It's a terrible, awful show. We all agree. There are a few nut-jobs left that will defend the show until death but they're a crazy, discredited lot.

The problem is, as you state, the alternatives may be much, much worse and Danny Mac ain't getting the afternoon slot any time soon.

Terry is an entertaining SOB and that's what it is supposed to be. Entertainment.

So what if he claims he keeps to talking to his guys at various teams, even though none of his guys have worked there in 15 years.

He'll be subbing for Bernsy Thursday & Friday afternoon. As much as this message board can't stand the guy, I'm convinced Laurence Holmes is the "heir apparent" (By Cracky!), especially if Boers calls it a career sooner rather than later.

What you almost need is for Beerstain and Uncle Teary to swap vacation schedules with Pants and Mackiefish. The Stine doesn't take enough time off and I would be less annoyed by his bullshit if he was taking 2 weeks chunk vacations like Mac. And Boers always sounds recharged and refreshed after a little time off so maybe if he got the Spiegel gig of 1-2 days off per week he'd be a better listen. Terry would just need to develop some pretend artistic moonlighting gig.
