I love it when "class" is not only used as a noun but is uttered in the most nasal of Sout' Side honks. Also, God bless Konerko for heroically raging back from having been traded twice and going to to be a very good player. Okay cool.

- DJ Williams practiced. Does that mean he will start. Tress states he may not be conditioned to play 60 – 70 snaps. Leaving all options wide open Expect both to play. Bostic will play some special teams too. He would be comfortable if Bostic were to start.
- ZZ with inside information. The Bears players and coaches loved what DJ could do on the field during pre season workouts and whatnot. Thusly, coaches are quite comfortable with his ability to perform.
- Lordy Tress enjoys verboseness. ZZ believes Tress is simply a better public speaker as he is a lawer.

- Practice squad will rotate weekly so the scout team better fits the upcoming opponent.
- Berns asks about Scott being released. ZZ: Long will be left at guard. Scott was left on Tuesday. The knee was a no go. He wouldn’t benefit the team against the Bengals. Scott may be back when the knee heals.
- ZZ: backup quarterback has created a lot of talk. Bears more concerned with left tackle. No backup.

I disagree that Urlacher was bad. He was not great.

I'm with gd on this, though. His immediate objection most certainly was that he was overdrafted. That could still absolutely be true, even if the guy is a 6-year starter. He should have stuck to his guns for a while.

I also immediately thought it was an awful pick.

I also think, now, he might be real, real good.

But, if I was an analyst, I might just as well stick to my original thought of being overdrafted and take the chance it might work out for me rather than just completely block any chance at being right at anything before the guy ever plays a game.
