It's all on the way but with Macs uncertain future and Meat seemingly dancing like a marionette for swaying to the symphony of Mitch and his legal team, what will become of this show in the near future? You know what? Who gives a fuck, no one but Finfer and Mac (For Mac it's a bout 60% of the time) seem to care. Let us sit back and follow these apathetic powerhouses, these Pied Pipers of sorts that lead us like rats through the streets....follow, friends, follow knowing you are being led to your ultimate demise.

Today's Show:

-NFL, NFL, NFL. Possibly some out of town reporters that are kind enough to take time out of their schedules to call into a couple of cowards that will ultimately hide behind the cloak of "texts from listeners" to shit all over them after they hang up.

-HUB? Fantasy football right around the corner! What better way to celebrate than to have a guy on to talk aboutthe thing that he has admitted to hating and not understanding. Hub can then snicker and tell us all about why the Bears draft sucked and Emory is a disaster.

-Baseball? NO
-Hockey? Possibly Crawford but outside of that, NO.
-Florio? YES unless HUB is now the "GO TO GUY" on The Score for fantasy football. Which makes total sense....because HUB is such a GURU. What a joke.
-Locker Room Talk? AKA- "I saw dicks and they made my soldier stand at attention," talk? And possibly members of "I saw dicks and they made my soldier stand at attention,"------------YOU BET.

Mac letting Finfer have some room to work, sound pretty good. Smooth with a quality aftertaste.

The mood is definitely different between Ben and Mac as opposed to Mac and Meat. Calmer, less awkward and a bit smoother.

We shall see but Finfer is getting better with more airtime.

Finfer is not smarmy. I like that.

A caller called him that. This brave gentleman called Meatpants "soft" and such and then called him "candyman." There is strong evidence that it was Matt Abattacola.

What I like about Finfer (and Mac for that matter) is that he doesn't take himself too seriously.

They definitely are on the offensive against Meat, that much is obvious. Everyone is getting in on the fun, taking shots at his voice and that he's a soft Candyman that doesn't respond well to criticism.

This may be Mac's endgame, is masterstroke, his VonSchlieffan Pla if you will, a nice end around.

Meats days may be numbered on the show, it looks like Finfer was right about him on thin ice and begging for his job. Looks like the 6-10pm slot may be in for a new host.

Reminds me of the one the early controversies of the board....when Goverment Fromage had an avatar of a nun pleasing herself with a crucifix.

This is great, lots of daggers at Candy today. Mac with another Candyman reference and then Shep with the Spiegs impression. Don't know how even the most ardent Spiegel ( if there are even any ardent Meat fans) out there can say that the show isnt a better listen with Finfer. Nice to see Ben takes his job a little more seriously than Meat and actually shows up despite a religious holiday .

Been a great show today, Finfer sounds good, the mood is jovial and the Meat attacks are funny. I'm sure Meat will be to exhausted from eating potato pancakes and singing Yiddish to be able to come in tomorrow, so hopefully they fire away!

As for the Meat Fan Club, I don't think there is one, I still can find some enjoyment in listening to a Mac and Meat Show with both hosts actually in but those days are getting more and more sparse. Meat has become way too thin skinned and has too many awkward moments these days. I do definitely appreciate him being very prepared to host, when he's in, and think that he can still "bring it" a significant minority of the time.

I just get the feeling that that Mac is about done....maybe with Meat, maybe with radio, maybe with The Score. Maybe all three.
