Depends .... I'm made to understand that the book was really more about the question of the citizen being a servant of the state, in this case through military service .... that said, the book also never could've done justice to Diz's tits, so there's that.

If a remake follows the book a bit more closely then I would approve. The movie was fun and followed the themes of the book somewhat but I was less than thrilled with it.

it looks like they're going for a different angle in this one. but the satire of the original will probably be missing, which was my favorite part of the original.
