Vehemently disagree. Jim has been in the league 2 years with a team gift wrapped with talent. Credit goes to him wanting and developing Kaepernick but otherwise his roster was stacked upon his arrival. Let's see how his teams do once they face salary cap decisions like Belichick, Tomlin, McCarthy, Coughlin, John Harbaugh, Payton and other coaches have had to deal with.

I have no idea how that offensive line doesn't break the salary cap by itself. I will love to see what happens to them and Seattle once they have to pay up on these qb's who are under rookie contracts still. Kaep is making just over 1 mil per. They have so much money spent else where that there is no way they can keep their core and him.

Even though I'm fairly sure I would hate them personally, both the Harbaughs have exhibited a great deal of aptitude for coaching. I'm not sure how anyone could proclaim them to be anything but fine coaches at this point.

Boldin can be both awesome and disposable, which is also how the Ravens viewed him seeing how he's not in Baltimore anymore. Boldin did well in Baltimore, but so did Smith, Pitta, and Rice. There were a lot of options and Boldin, just like the others, benefited from each other's presence. At this point in his career, he's a useful WR but nowhere near that status in which I think you're trying to categorize him.

Boldin is a great route runner and he is very strong. He is slow and not explosive. He does not make a bad offense suddenly good. He will put up numbers but it is because of what he is surrounded by, not because of transcendent talent. If he was on the Jets, he would be forgotten.

I understand he's not a top 5 game changing receiever but I do think he's top 15 or 20 and his specific ability to catch balls in traffic aids young QB's
