With that being said, it still puts forth that therapy did cure some of the participants.

Well then I was wrong to completely dismiss it but, and I hate to say this, it was ignorance on my part not lying. Important distinction

I would say that I would still be skeptical if someone told me they were no longer gay. I can't pretend there aren't a lot of people who suppress gay feelings because of the stigma and tougher road.

It is a very important distinction.

It was unduly harsh to call you a liar. Please accept my apology for that.

Okay I will answer your question. Although I already have.
It is not right for me as a Christian to judge others, that is The Lords place. My job is to try and be the best person I can and live a good life and know that I can only go to Heaven through the intercession of Jesus. If I judge others then I am not doing as Christ commanded me to do. I can though pray and try to help others come to Christ through my actions and words. Those who reject Jesus are to be prayed for in that they will come to the Word and believe.

Well I'm sure that was an answer to some question, but would you like to take a shot at what I actually asked you?

Kid as I said I try. I am not nor have I ever claimed to be perfect. There is a lot of stuff on this board that if I was being a what I call ,intrusive Christian,,I could comment and preach about. I do not because I do not feel it is the place to do so. I also know I am a sinner and so I do not throw stones at others. Who do you say I judge. About the only thing on here I have really come across as being in a strong negative manner is Islam. There are reasons for that.

Also McNown. You wanted me to answer a question about if I do to one of you you do unto me. I explained my opinion. I know it is not what you want to hear but I explained it as I see it. Sorry you can not accept that other people have viewpoints that you do not like.

It has nothing to do with not wanting to hear it Chas. It has to do with your intolerance of others is in direct contradiction to the teachings of Christ. And now that you are called out on that, you're going to give us a paragraph talking completely around the question in the hopes that nobody notices. We notice. You are a hypocrite.

Don't come bringing the "I'm a Christian" stuff if your actions don't back it up.

I am not intolerant. I accept that there are other viewpoints than mine and accept them. I think they maybe wrong but that is the joy of living in a free society. I enjoy learning and knowing about others that are not carbon copies of me. From the way you act you are the more intolerant one around here with the venom you spew against anyone who has a different viewpoint or outlook than you.

No Chas. I spew venom at people like you who as much as you are crying about how tolerant you are now, your posts clearly dictate that you are not, and then wrap yourself in the banner of Christ. It's insulting.

Bullshit and you know it or you are one delusional person. Go back and read some of the posts you have about Republicans or Christians.
Name and show me one post that I have made that has come anywhere close to the shit you have posted about Bush,ie ChimpyMcflightsuit. If it was just me pointing out that you are a hateful and antagonistic person it would be one thing but leash who himself says him and I see almost nothing eye to eye has in this thread pointed out how much of a fucking asshole you are. Now Good Day Sir,I need to focus on how shitty the Redskins are playing.

Lol. So calling GWB Chimpy is on the same level as you thinking that some people are less than you as a person because of their skin color, religion or sexual orientation. And you are a poor persecuted Christian now. Just stop it. Your incessant wrapping of yourself in Christ to justify your hateful thoughts of others is insulting to all of us. And if you wanna play the "quote this" game, quote me saying hateful things about Christians. Go ahead. I fucking dare you. I'll say shit all day long to fake ass Christians like yourself who use the scriptures they find convenient to justify their own bigotry while ignoring what Jesus actually taught. that's a completely different ball game than being mean to Chriatians.

Maybe if you got a job instead of counting on us to support your lazy ass you'd understand how the world works.

Who is "forcing" you to be okay with it?

Good question.
For starters the activists who say Christianity is a religion of hate because it says homosexuality is wrong and immoral.
The entertainment industry who portray homosexuality as normal and natural.

Once again I will state I am not your judge. That is for someone greater than me to do.

And if you are a Christian then you believe that we are all created in God's image. So if you're gay, God wanted you that way. And he's not gonna judge you any less for it.

This is faulty logic and it fails to point to the fact that people are not born gay and that we live in a sinful fallen world and not everything that happens is God's Will.

When people say, "Don't judge me" they are essentially saying, "Don't have a negative opinion of my behavior or my viewpoint." I don't think a negative opinion of immoral behavior or viewpoints is wrong. You need to be always able to call a "spade" a "spade."

I think staying out of condemnation is what Christians should be concerned about (i.e. You disagree with me therefore you are all going to hell.). Because while that is possibly true or not true, that decision belongs to God who will judge each person's life (their actions, their words and their thoughts).

Very late to this thread and I haven't taken the time to read all 12 pages.

I've always held the belief that men and women have an instinctual "desire" or "need" to reproduce. Therefore, I struggle with identifying the underlying cause of homosexuality. Is it learned? Is it genetic?

Psychology is a powerful device that can be used to retrain the human brain into thinking anything, if done correctly.

Does McNown realize he is as bad as Chas? He's the opposite side of the same coin. How tiresome...
