Hester is back!!! He helped win this game big time. might be a little slower but good enough.

Hester totally set up the game. He had an average of almost 50 yards a kickoff return and a set a team record for kickoff return yards. I think the condition of the field had something to do with that as I doubt he would have that yardage on a dry field.

The Bears were very fortunate to win. The fumble by Forte almost cost them the game. The Bears did very little in the 2nd half until that final drive. They had critical turnovers that probably cost them at least two or three touchdowns.

The defense is in a lot of trouble because Peppers and none of the other defensive lineman are looking like they are going to be a factor this year if this continues. The Bears did well against the run and they did shut Ponder down in the red zone, but you have to think they lose this game against a better QB.

It was a very exciting game, but honestly it shouldn't have been that close.

Did anyone notice that the last two minutes of the 1st half were not on their TV? Also the Bears player on that punt was making me very nervous by touching the ball so close to the goal line. I wonder if this field would have been any better if they didn't schedule an Illinois game on Saturday.
