The strange thing for me is that the type of weapon used keeps on changing. I am a firearms novice but I do not see how anyone can mistake a shotgun as an AR-15. Totally two different sounds as well as firing cycles. Plus they now say he only had one weapon and got the others from fallen security guards. Have they released names yet so we can see if this is correct?

It was an inside job. Done by someone who worked at the base and had clearance to be there.

The guy was mentally ill it appeared. But you can't complain about that based upon your ridiculing of others that seek psychological help. Because then you might actually have to face down your own mental health issues inherent in numerous posts here.

You and I can't walk onto the base where the shooting occurred. That is how the Seal could conclusively say that it was an "inside" job. Meaning done by someone on the base. Btw, my brother in law that works there was sending me emails while it was going on. He had the same thoughts as the SEAL.

It's stressful to be in the military. Especially for those who saw combat.

So, we have a guy who regularly posts wild bat shit stuff here.

This time, there was another poster with first hand info to call bullshit.

The same poster regularly accuses others of being crazy while ridiculing the notion of the need for some to get mental health assistance.

So in conclusion, we have refuted the inside job conspiracy.

We now know that the shooter had clearance to be there and was retired military.

We also now hear that he had been hearing voices and needed further medical help.

But the guy who wants to call conspiracy would have ridiculed the guy who did the shooting for getting help.

Actually,I could walk on that base. My company has many employees that work there. I'm sure I can get my security level bumped.

As far as hidden conspiracies (CIA brainwashing,etc.),it never hurts to have a wavering eye. Who knows anymore. Having said that,I agree with you. The guy was mentally ill.

This does seem like a big fuck up on someones part. He has 4 prior gun arrests and the police in Ma where he was on a consulting job after he called them to his hotel room about hearing voices alerted the Navy about him.
Once again this is another tragedy that instead of focusing on the real problem,the fucked up metal health system and how we deal with it, and instead we go the need more gun control route.
