What would be the point of the Sox spending a boatload Granderson at this point?

I don't think it would take a boatload to sign him.

It will and it's dumb. They need to get younger, not older.

Sox need to follow the Cubs' example.

No they shouldn't. I don't know about you, but I don't want the Sox to lose 90+ games for the next 2 seasons.

I do think they need to go full-on rebuild mode and sell everything. The last time they did it was '97. By 2000, they were already reaping the benefits. By 2005, many of those players helped bring a championship here. Honestly, I think Kenny should have torn this thing down after 2010.

Hawk and Stone are talking about next year and Hawk said "well there is no doubt a couple players won't be here next year and it will be addition by subtraction." Bye bye butt nugget twins.

Porcello is a big league pitcher facing a AA lineup.

I feel bad for keyser, living and dying with every pitch of such a crappy team.

I'll save you the time. 5 minutes of silence then "this is unfrigin believable." 5 more minutes of silence then "if Chris Sale didn't have bad luck he'd have no luck at all." 5 minutes of silence.

Johnson had another good start and the bullpen was able to hold a lead. Yippers.

Oh, I get it. Don't ever change.

When do pitchers and catchers report?

100% true. The 7 people watching the game know whats going on. Why does Hawk need to say anymore?

Man did Semien jump all over that pitch. He turned and burned and crushed it down the left field line for his first career home run. I'm really starting to like this Kid.

Jeff Keppinger is scheduled to undergo season-ending surgery Thursday on his right shoulder.

Hopefully we've seen the last of Jeff Keppinger in a White Sox uniform.

Reeder is having a real tough end of the season. Actually so is the entire bullpen. Those poor bastards are worn out. Jason Giambi again. That juice fuck shouldn't be allowed to play major league baseball.

I know this team is just awful, but I honestly couldn't believe they let Giambi beat them again. Especially after he looked so bad swinging at the first offspeed pitch. At that point they should have kept throwing him junk in the dirt/off the plate.

This team has given up. One thing I will say about Ozzie is that I don't think the team ever gave up on him, except for maybe the last 3-4 games of 2011 when Ozzie was gone anyway.

I don't know how you can say they gave up when they hit 2 home runs in the top of the 9th to take the lead. The bullpen is gassed. Too many close games has taken it's toll. I wish Robin would have used Petricka or Webb last night but he's playing it straight because these are meaningful games for Cleveland and Robin respects the game so they lost with the best he had.

I suppose he will have to play this one tonight straight as well since the Royals have not been eliminated. I don't want Dunn to see an at bat this weekend.
