I hate watched the last couple of seasons. That finale sucked. The last good season was with Lithgow.

This whole season was terrible. That kid Dexter took under his wing was one of THE worst actors I've ever seen. Ditto for the kid who played Harrison. Every time that little prick was on screen, I wanted to hurl. Horrible.

Yes, but you'd be mad if Harrison bought it. So letting him escape is reasonable. Hannah's escaping is reasonable.

As far as Dexter's running off in the opposite direction, well, it makes a lot of sense. Because he'd get in the same sort of trouble in Argentina.

As to how he got Deb out of the hospital, or even, how he got past killing Saxon while being filmed, is kind of hard to explain.

As the lumberjack... well, he's now capable of feeling emotional pain. And hiding out in Alaska or wherever that is, he'll be feeling that for a long time.

How long? Until he says "the hell with this redemption" and flies down to Argentina.

And btw, the guy Hannah took down on the bus ought to be waking up soon. And when he does, he knows which direction she went...

But... it's an ending. As many things as can be addressed were addressed. There's going to be no drag out confrontation in the streets because Batista & Quinn already decided to bury what they saw on the video. And who in the hell was going to take care of Deb, anyway?

A few thoughts...
Quinn didn't buy dexters story with the Saxon killing. He knew. You could see it. And so did batista. They knew. They also wanted him dead. I don't think they connected the dots yet to bhb but with time they would, like say hey maybe doakes and laguerta were right after all that was crazy how calm him was after he killed that guy and just moseyed over to the button bla bla. Given the chamce to get over the shock they'd know what he is.
But they knew he cold blooded killed saxon.
How about a spinoff called harrison? He's now 17, son of a killer, norn in blood, no family, mom murdered, aunt murdered, raised by a killer in a foreign land...

With dexter as his harry...

Oh and nothing compared to season 1.
Nothing was even close.

season one was one of the best seasons in tv history. season 2 was really good too. all downhill after that. really tanked after season 4

ending was as dumb as the rest of the season. it makes sense though, you only need two good seasons to sell out the next 6. why put money and effort into seasons you know will sell anyway.

Trinity season was very good whichever number that was.

Correct.

Yep, that'd work out just fine. His surrogate mom is also pretty good with poisons.

Still don't you think Dexter makes his way south in a few months? I still like the books' angle of Cody and the girl also being killers.

Definitely a disappointing way to end things but at least it is over. This was never my favorite show
but was entertaining for portions of the series.

Never thought this show was impressive. Seemed to ape all the trappings of Quality Television without actually being that. I just thought it was repetitive death porn, personally. This is pertinent, I feel.
