Just saw something on Yahoo news the the grand jury is indicting Aaron Hernandez' fiancee on perjury charges, deliberately misled / lied to investigators . You can probably draw your own conclusions but Im guessing she knows he killed Odin Lloyd and was trying to cover for him. I dont know whether this paints me in a good light or bad but man, theres not a soul on this earth I would cover for or lie about to police if I knew they committed murder, especially one like Hernandez did.

This is just being done to scare her into testifying against him. She'll do that.

I mean, she did lie. It's a legit charge. But they're probably telling her they'll nail her for conspiracy and/or covering up where she'll go to jail for years.

Like I said, they'll have her testifying against him at trial. They'll drop the perjury charges if she agrees. She ain't going to jail for her gang banger.

I would cover for SHARK, Drop In, Dave in Champaign, my Mom, and Urlacher's Missing Neck. After that, the list gets pretty thin. There are a few people about whom I would definitely fabricate charges.

Thanks, although I think if I confessed it to you in a CSFMB private message, it's bound by the same rules as priest-penitent privilege.

Strong-arm tactic by the police/investigators to get a key witness to help them make their case against Hernandez. That they are resorting to such a
bullshit maneuver to get the fiance to roll-over on Hernandez suggests their case might not be as solid as they'd like.

yeah police obviously aint got shit and they should leave the wife alone, because obviously she might not even be alive if she was the one to go tell the police anything in the first place.

that said, im pretty sure the guy is guilty as fuck, but with the way our system is you gotta have hard evidence or just let it go. thats the way it is, right or wrong.

It's not bullshit. If someone tries to help cover up for a murderer, they should be charged. If she turns states-evidence and they drop the charges, she will be fortunate.

thats the law, but there are also laws that protect individuals from incriminating themselves, and our system of marriage see a couple as one person... so i do think its a bit shitty to expect the wife to rat on the husband.

But they are not married so spousal privilege does not apply.

From http://www.cbsnews.com/8301-504083_162- ... a-jenkins/

Quote:
Since the couple is not legally married, Jenkins does not have the option of using the spousal privilege law in Massachusetts, which would allow her to object to a request by prosecutors to give testimony in Hernandez's trial.

They cannot arrest a husband and wife for the same crime.

Sure they can. If you are with someone that commits a murder and you do nothing to stop the murder and do not go to authorities to report the murder immediately afterwards, you will be charged as well.

This case has been dismissed based on the officer's paperwork.
