Mark Lazerus seems to be more of a fan than a reporter. As recent as this weekend, he was noting how Hossa's back issue will likely be with him the rest of his career. Given the length of his contract, perhaps its time to start asking tough questions to Bowman?

While I understand NHL has a bullshit policy regarding injury disclosure, the media here needs to stand up to it, yet all three above do little to work towards fixing it. Hell, reporters are still asking Belichek injury status.

Zawaski does okay. Committed Indian guys aren't bad, but obviously they don't have the ins the rest of these guys have.

As far as getting the scoop on things, I think few if any had the Bickell deal. Most had him gone. McDonaugh gets really pissed when things leak, so I don't know how much these guys are going to get when they need it.
