Dale out as Cubs manager... told you so!
Breaking Bad is as bad as ever because Terry said so.
Kellen Bennett at 5:00 to talk about his drops yesterday and what he read in the bathroom this morning

There is your show thread.

they're doubling down on management being right. I'd really like to hear them answer the question if Dale was a bad hire and if so what that says about Theo/Jud.

Agreed.

2 other things Theo / Jed has to explain:

1. Edwin Jackson.... really?!?!?
2. It appears like in Boston, He cannot get the SS position right.

They should move Castro to 2nd now, leave him there and have Barney hold down short until Beaz is ready.

There has never been an issue in sports where this hasn't been the case.

Quality drop coming from that CBS Sports Minute.

"With the first pick in the 2014 NFL Draft...I'm John Feinstein." Guy's gotta learn he can't end with an ellipsis AND state his name.

He better at least start there because Ott should be the opening day third baseman.

And if he isn't, Theo has to explain that one as well.....

How about the old and (now) hurt Japanese closer? Why pay for that guy rather than see what you have inside the organization?

I hope that Theo realizes he has about one season of goodwill left. If they are sniffing 100 losses again things are going to turn on the chosen one mighty quickly.

Do you mean Mike Olt, the guy who hit a buck eighty in the Pacific Coast League this year? He may not be ready.

Hubster pushing his need more weapons again. Didn't ask the question directly as it point has been max protect versus another target per play so the field is spread out.

If I don't hear a drop within the first 140 seconds, I'm out.

I'm calling bull. You won't drop out  , and they're too full of it to dare and stain St. Theo's next winning presser.

I'm on to ESPN 1000. Crap! More Theo! I couldn't care less about his presser. WGN is next. I'll be back to 670 after Theo is done.

I guess I've never really heard Theo talk before. He's a much poorer public speaker than I would have thought. He sounds nervous, awkward, and slightly Tebowesque.

If he gets launched as GM of the Cubs he could make a seamless transition into a position as update guy on WSCR.

There is no way to spin the words on Sveum without bus tossing him.

Edit: More a thought on Theo's comments than a counterpoint to Tad's thought on the rambling. Missed that.

Swung on and belted!

Completely nonsensical, leading to a nonsensical remark by a disappointed Bernstein coming out of it.

Tebow: Really Dumb Guy who loves Jesus Christ. Circumsizes Filipinos.

Theo: Really Smart Guy had ancestors who killed Jesus Christ. Has been circumsized.

I imagine every offensive coordinator Cutler's played for in the NFL and before has tried to "fix" Cutler's mechanics and decision-making.

Of all the stumblefucks in Scoreboard Update history, I still maintain that Rongey, of all people, has the best one.

Just heard Big Voice say the following on 670:

Is this opposed to the sort of termination where you continue to hold your job?

Haha, Dan just pointed this out.

leave it to zach to find the unquestionable positives after that drubbing yesterday. only the vaunted denver broncos have put up more points than your chicago bears! the team is only going to continue to get better on offense! think happy thoughts cuz it's a good life!

Every time that Connor McKnight says, "I'm Connor McKnight", I still say to myself or often out loud, "I'm Connor McDoink".

I think the word came down to stop playing that because it could undermine the status of the next Score superstar.

Ooh, yeah, "I'm Connor McDoink" is a good one.

"Bad news for the White Sox, because of the loss, or, with the loss, the result is, a loss, due to the number of runs scored."

It's a legit concern that Urlacher's leadership in running the defense on the field is impacting other parts of the defense.

Not saying it's a fact. But, it could be an issue. That is a different discussion than his physical ability.

So am I correct in my understanding that "The Martellus Bennett Show" is just "crazy black guy says crazy things"? Because I liked it better as 30 Rock.

Get ready!! This is going to be "a thing"!

Because, we are going to try like hell to make this "a thing" even if it means in the trying we prevent it from being "a thing"!
