My thought is it makes this place look like we are a bunch of psycho dicks.

It detracts from the many legit critiques and makes us easy to marginalize.

Plus, I have dibs on the band name Psycho Dicks.

My main point is that if you post a picture of your wife online and ask people to comment, people are going to comment. At that point it's no different that someone commenting on anything else they saw online.

I think Dan doing that in the first place is more "wrong" that anyone reposting the picture here.

Considering the overwhelming prevalence of images being used and manipulated on the Interwebs, and the frequent usage of such on this bored and, ironically, even by those Psych Dicks who are looking to "protect" Lady DB, the question of such utilization comes back to the source. Anyone here taking pictures and then posting/manipulating on this bored should be considered inappropriate, his taking a photo and sending it to thousands makes it fair game. As her husband he should know better, particularly in posting to ask an opinion of the photo he took.

It's like his running to the "proper authorities" over tweets he's received. They look at the whole and determine that unless wholly unsolicited or without any instigation, he'd do best to simply not use twitter.

I'm as a big a proponent of privacy as anyone here and I agree with Dr. Ken. However, it really shouldn't take me to say that privacy has all but been eliminated legally and culturally.

I would still recommend showing restraint.

Have you looked at the first few pages of the Ratings NSFW thread? Those women weren't glamour girls or anything. They aren't models. They are unattractive women with photos pulled from Google (or who knows where else) that were posted on purpose for shits and giggles. That thread started off as a joke.

Well, I don't think that's cool either. But I'm not going to flip my lid about it. And I'm not going to get too worked up over some goof bagging on a radio host's wife either. We live in a society that puts a premium on physical appearance. Except when we make allowances for those who dress like vagabonds during commercial air travel.
