I realize they've been gone for awhile. But every now and then when I'm in the store I do a doubletake because I think I saw them.

So on the bottom on one of my paper grocery bags is John 3:16. Weird.

What is that?

I love the planet and everything, but I can't carry 36 paper grocery bags into the house at once.

It's the "born-again" Christian verse. Is that a Christ-y market?

Christian Reformed family that once owned Bolthouse Farms are the purveyors at Standard market.

Across the McGrath Lexus.

Large white building that looks more like a farmhouse than a store.

Just down the street from the former Checkers.

Standard Market own the Bakersfield restaraunt across the street, which is pretty good. Standard Market is completely overpriced though.

Some of it is, depends on what you are looking for. Their produce sales can be good and it keeps for a good 5 days to a week. We like their deli meat, Columbus, and I haven't seen it anywhere else yet. They carry some different things too, gluten free stuff or some of the marinated meats. I'm going to try Angry Orchard sausage this week. I probably spend about 50 bucks a week there and I'm there twice a week. A couple of their dinners of the day are good too. They are sort of expensive, about $18, but great for when I don't want to go for fast food/spend at a restaurant/cant cook/ Don't want to clean. They are cheaper than whole foods.

Mini Ditka thread's aren't really all that bad. They stir up good convo, inadvertantly.

I miss the nacho rolls too, by the way.
