This is the rare pairing where Laurence actually seems to be the more likeable of the two, although it's really a case of being the tallest midget. Hey, what happened to that guy?

I can deal with Spiegel and Holmes. They're close enough in age to get each other's references, and while I hate to admit it, it's about the only time Laurence comes off as knowledgeable and somewhat likeable.

Honestly, for as little as I care for Laurence on the radio, I'd kinda rather hear him than Dan McNeil at this point. I listened yesterday and it was just so bad. McNeil is just so gruff and unlikable.

Anytime Spiegel is allowed to drive a show, the cohost becomes more likeable. Spiegel just oozes insecurity. I wish I could be his therapist. I could retire in 6 months.

The hockey doesn't bother me. I don't hate the sport, and at least he's talking about a sport. I'd rather hear him talk about hockey than his own life. Every host interjects anecdotes and personal stories here and there, but yesterday I listened to nearly the whole show and it was just him talking about himself.
