Kicks off this Tuesday at 9pm Central. This show has been getting a bit stale over the years but I will at least
give it a few episodes to see if there are any interesting storylines.

I was shocked to see the Dolphins do well under Philbin after watching him last year. He seemed like the farthest thing from a leader of men.

I ended up tuning in last night and I honestly couldn't tell if it was enjoyable or if I am just at that
stage in the football season where I am starting to get very interested and starved for anything
football related. Felt bad for the hometown guy near the end of the episode.

So you are saying Trestman has a chance!!! I think the players respect Philbin and don't think he is a loon. He is probably a bit soft and too personable but not overly weird. That Dolphins team was young and that was good for him. If it were a roster of veteran assholes he would have been eaten alive.

Me too. The guy hemmed and hawed through every one-on-one meeting that they showed.

I thought the Bengals premiere was kind of "blah". Usually they take a guy or two and show a bit of his family and that. It didn't feel as personal as in past years to this point. I did feel bad for the kid at the end but it was, overall, pretty uneventful.

That is great. The need to extend it up to week 1 though. So much stuff happens after the show ends. I want to see Kyle Adams get cut and signed 6 times before the first game next year.

Cutler and Marshall would make up for that.

I guarantee it will be the Bears. But, it sounds like if anybody steps up and wants to do it, they can't just choose someone else.

However, if they can do it, they'll make it the Bears.
