Speigs is both morally right and reality wise wrong. The NFL is no place for mental illness. Professional sports are no place for mental illness. I thought he did a good job fighting a losing battle and plus 1 to him for standing his ground against Dan and Terry.

No. But Dan & Terry were arguing the immaturity and childish behavior is strictly a function of Marshall wanting the ball. They ruled out 100% his mental illness having anything to do with his recent statements.

Dan and Terry sound like world class assholes. Even an attempt to walk it back does not help. Let's not take mental illness serious.

I think he is a little tired of it being used as an excuse.

What Marshall is doing is no different than most other diva WR's in the league. Mike Wallace said some similar things after a win too.

I believe the issue here is how Marshall is now using it as a crutch. He is the one bringing it up.

That's what the Bears and Bernstein signed up for. Complaining about it and telling Marshall to shut up is bullshit. There's a reason he was available for a 3rd so deal with it.

my favorite part of the call was after the initial servo/b&b-reaction when he started going again and bernstein was like "you're not wrong... but if you hold on a minute.." and the caller interrupted him before he could say "i'll tell you why you're wrong"

btw, all of this crap is a semi-transparent attempt to get brandon to call them up and give them another cheap pop. they're not even baiting us anymore!
