Tonight at 10pm on PBS. should be good, looks like theyre going to slam the NFL for holding back what they knew for decades.

well they definitely painted the nfl in the negative light... and it was very convincing however they admitted the biggest problem- they still really dont know what cte is or who will get it or who will not. they admitted theres only been a dozen or so autopsies like this have been done so far...

so basically the players and widows still alive sold out to get what they can, instead of continuing the fight they started, which had a goal of changing things so kids wont be hurt in the future.

under a billion dollars for the nfl to keep on rolling without fear of future litigation. i can only think now the fight will continue on a localized level at the gradeschool level, up to college eventually. the nfl is a business, but school is an entirely different thing. i think its bye-bye for scholastic football.. at very least it will go flag.

I'd love to see high schools drop football. It's unconscionable for them to be in the dementia-causing business.

that, and it promotes rape. at least in ohio.

i remember not wanting to play high school football because i knew i would get hurt. my dad played, and had bad hips at age 40. that was all i needed to know. for years i thought i was just being a pussy and should have at least tried, but now im not so worried about it. glad i didnt.

i do wish i was good enough for basketball. just. too. damn. slow. and. white.

I still believe that the NFL will disband within my lifetime.
