BTW do you dumb shits think there are droves of dregs lining up to buy lobster with food stamps? If not, then why even mention it - other than because some half-assed article put it in your head?

Dominicks and a lot of places have the 4oz tails on sale for 5$ pretty often
you could probably get away with getting 1 or 2 of those, not like a 60$ cold water Australian one

Lobster has been cheaper than most beef for almost two years now, so the lobster thing is pretty stupid.

You can get whole live lobsters for $5/lb. at H-mart.

We don't want those parasites eating beef or lobster. They can get buy on second day bread and canned vegetables that are donated. Let them have bologna once a month as a treat.

I don't think any of those people eat food anyway. They just sell their food stamps for money to buy cheap schnapps.

That's right. You can get 65 cents on the dollar at most Arab groceries. And they also sell Lotto. It's a one-stop transaction.

Hah, is that how it works? Man, I should open an Arab grocery store. That is a big profit margin. And I'd have a Lotto machine for sure.

Not only do you want to take away the right of poor folks to eat steak and lobster, now you want to stop them from checking their scratch-offs at the counter. You're a heartless bastard, spanky.

In the US, at any given moment, it is estimated that there are 2 million impaired drivers on the road.

More people have walked on the moon (12) than men who have scored against Mariano Rivera in the postseason (11).

Statistically, 3/4 people enjoy gang rape.

9/11 Americans won't get this joke.

I'm not worrying about pennies when the ultra-wealthy are stealing millions. The attack on the poor is nothing more than a canard to make people like you and me feel that we have more in common with Warren Buffet than we do with a crackhead mom. And it isn't true. But if enough people realize that, we'll be storming the gates.

What are your feelings on the notion that in some cases people receive more funding from government assistance than they would with a part-time job?

My first problem is that it's admitted to be a notion, which by definition means it's baseless ... wouldn't mind seeing actual data proving such a 'notion' ... not saying it's impossible, just saying a 'notion' isn't worth a tinker's dam.

More people watched the 1st round of the NFL draft this past year than watched the final game of STL/PIT last night.

Baseball is a sport that happens to be televised. Football is a television show that happens to be a sport.

Clearly not a notion then.

What my attention is drawn to, however, is that people that would stand to make more money on the government dole rather than work a 40 hour work week still can't make enough money to run a household .... I think your thought then combined with mine is what should draw people into a conversation about the larger problem is how to reduce the number of have-not's in this country.

I'll be honest; if I was getting more money from Uncle Sam than I would at a minimum wage job, sending my resume out wouldn't exactly be my top priority. But I'm lazy.

I don't think most sane people would either, Ugie .... that said, addressing that first is completely misguided. Getting people working and consequently earning a livable wage .... well, I have no idea why there are assholes who don't immediately agree - which I'm not saying you are in any way.

Anyway, back to 'stats'.

The New York Football Giants have lost 6 games ... before the Jaguars.

... one wonders how much money could've been made on a prop bet such as that back in August ...

Jay Cutler has the 29th best career QB Rating in NFL History.

Better than -

John Elway
Dan Fouts
Phil Simms
Troy Aikman
Warren Moon
Fran Tarkenton
Kyle Orton
Ken Stabler
Every single QB that has ever taken a snap for the Bears

I think that says more about the value of QB rating than about the value of Jay Cutler.

Matt Ryan and Matt Schaub are tied for 11th all time

Its not that QB rating is flawed, it's the offensive rules of today.

Of the top 20 guys, only Otto Graham didnt play in this century
