I actually don't think there are many hits. Him riding his jokes is bad. It's almost like he wants to force the point that he made a funny and he usually didn't. You're funny if you say it and don't comment after it. Everybody knows funny when they hear it. Don't need to repeat or explain.

I like(d) Letterman, and I honestly think that's part of the reason I enjoyed Terry from day one - the Heavy Fuel Crew were a solid pairing: Terry was odd and funny and McNeil had yet to morph into a completely self absorbed Deutsch Bank. Letterman was so different, back in the day, and Terry ripping his schtick and bringing it to the newly formed Score was surely a big reason I tuned in daily. Well, that and Tom Shaer.

Even Bernstein took a shot at drinky for whatever the hell drinky was doing with that 3pm update. Bernstein basically called him unprofessional. It stung drinky a little bit. He wasn't expecting that. Bernstein is floored by drinky's constant "ass hat" behavior as well.

Mitch needs to put a stop to drinky's weirdness and stupidity.

I was a longtime Drinky fan & thought he deserved a regular show...but the swarmy smart ass persona that he now uses on air is awful & I really don't enjoy listening to him anymore. I'm not sure what he is trying to do or prove, but it certainly wont help him going forward.

Anybody catch the 6pm update? It was recorded. Fine. But it was an update from last week. Cuz drinky was peviewing the Indians wild card came and talking about how the Bulls were about to play their first pre season game. They've played a couple of pre season games.

It's almost like this was done on purpose. Probably drinky thinking it would be funny. He's just an idiot if it was him doing it on purpose. Cuz you would think they'd just replay his 5:30 update. You'd have to go out of your way to dig up last week's update, one would think.

He sounds like Benjy Bronk from the Stern show lately. Its offputting. I hope it passes. I generally like him.

Drink is knocking Ranger for not being married. Then he was saying that Ranger dates teenagers. Pretty mean to throw something like that out there. Bad if it's not true. Even worse if it is true. Drinky is pretty cocky now that he's gotten married. But he married at an older age as well.

By the way, I agree with Ranger, if you don't want to have kids, there is no point to get married. Ranger says he's not sure if he wants them.

Drinky addressed some of the criticism he's gotten in this thread. I'm paraphrasing. But he basically said "people think I don't like you and just jump on the air to be a jack ass to you". Drinky said it's not true. Bernstein didn't beleive him. Drinky didn't even believe himself.

But then drinky made a comment that was some sort of inside station thing. He said "I'm really thankful for you, Dan." Bernstein didn't want to get into it. Basically telling drinky to drop it. But then drinky said it again.

So, my theory on this, is somebody at the station told drinky that he should be very thankful he has Bernstein. Maybe suggesting to him that it's only cuz of Bernstein that drinky even has part time on air role at the station.

The obvious guess, of course, is Spiegel said this to drinky. But maybe it was somebody else.

Anybody else catch this? It was in the 4pm hour.

So now drinky is reporting that Cutler could be out for the season with ligament damage.

Cutler, himself, said they were worried about his ligaments on his radio show last week. So Cutler broke that Cutler news last week.

Then you go to drinky's twitter and he's quoting cutler's comments from his ESPN 1000 radio show. The one where he said they're worried about a couple of ligaments.

So you know what drinky is doing? He's using Cutler's radio show as his source. No doubt in my mind. And the Score is pimping drinky's story on the updates. When all drinky did was listen to ESPN 1000.

Remember when the Cutler show was in its infancy, and Leary refused to acknowledge its existence? The Score DOES use it as a source. Abso-fucking-lutely.
