I took my Mother & Daughter to Russells on Thatcher Rd in Elmwood Park. This place takes be back to my youth as we would eat at Russells every Saturday. The place hasn't changed a bit.

Leftover homemade orange chicken with broccoli (better than Yu's), an apple, and some cookies.

No food at home so grabbed Wendy's at lunch. Tried the new Asiago Ranch Flatbread Grilled Chicken
sandwich. It was only ok at best. It is about 60% of the size I expected and a little overpriced for
what I got. Didn't taste too bad ( had bacon on it ) but you could do much better for $5.

i had that a few days ago...i agree it was kind of small and not the greatest value ever but i thought it was tasty

if they were 2/5 or something i could definitely see grabbing a couple but not for 6 something or whatever the combo was

Agreed, I decided to bite the bullet as it was healthier than a double Baconator. I don't feel like a disgusting greasy
toad at my desk now so in that sense it was a reasonable deal.

Kinda stuck at work for lunch today so hopped across the street and got a Spicy Chicken Crisp
and one of the new French Fry Sandwiches off the dollar menu. Chicken was a little messy
but tasty and the Fry sandwich wasn't too bad. Can't beat it for just over $2.

Having an Oktoberfest style grill out here at work for about 500 people. Hamburgers, brats,
chicken, potato and pasta salad, and corn on the cob dipped in warm butter. Also a tent
for root beer on tap. Beautiful day for it.

Had me a Smothered Burrito at the Taco Bell. If you like spicy, this could be for you. It didn't need extra spice packets which I have found a rarity for TB. Pretty tasty. I went beef, but would go steak next time for an extra buck. You probably want to tell them you are eating it there as there is a fair amount of sauce and I think you may get a different container eating in house. It isn't huge, so add an extra taco or two depending on hunger levels.

The chicken one is really good...for Taco Bell.

80 McNuggets today, as long as nobody talks about it until my plans are finalized.

I don't peruse the Taco Bell expanded menu on a regular basis. What does a IMU17 pick off the menu (sans chicken products) that is satisfying?

A smothered burrito sounds like the aftermath of a hate crime.

I haven't tried one of the new McDonalds chicken McWraps. Today I am giving the Southwest Chicken
version a spin. Has a nice spicy ranch. I also like the packaging as you tear the top off the bottom stays
on so as to not get your hand dirty.
