Shouldn't football players be timed with pads on?

Baseball is a thinking man's game. It's always held to a higher standard.

Every fielder is asked to run 90 feet at least three times per game and his speed in doing so incredibly relevant to in game performance.

Let's start the scouting revolution here. I want players to be timed 90 feet straight line after a swing, a second time representative of home to second and a third time of first to third.

And if they're righty, start them from 92 feet

and they have to start balanced on their heels with toes in the air, otherwise they have no chance of making it to the majors.
