OK, he's bad. Real bad.
Is it time to give him the heave ho? Find someone else to play FS?

"Someone else" implies they have someone doing it now.

Wasn't he sorta ok last year?

He's comically bad today.

Tillman to safety. Conte to the curb.

You're referring to the "Fall Down and Hope" play on the TD there?
Yeah. That did not work.

Conte got a bag of cash before the game. He's not that bad.

But he's never shown the ability to actually uh, really play NFL football either.

Conte is bad but without a pass rush the secondary is going to get beat no matter who's back there.

I used to at least try to excuse his play by saying "Well at least he's not Archuleta bad."

#1 on the depth chart. He's started about 35 games in a row for a reason.

Peppers would like to have an average that good this year.

I think I'm fairly knowledgeable when it comes to the NFL and it's players but I'm not going to pretend I know how good every FS in the NFL is. I really hope you aren't either. Conte has been good enough that the Bears haven't tried to replace him.

Craig Steltz made Conte look decent and he ended up with the job. Plus he plays so amazingly deep he doesnt get burned usually on deep patterns, but everything else costs us.

This same logic could justify J'Marcus Webb's performance across his 3 seasons with the team.

Webb had the raw talent but didn't want to work on his game. Conte is still young and was compared to Lynch when he got into the league. He's having a tough season but he is still only 24 and no one believes he doesn't care.

Conte sucks. He's got the easiest job description in the world and can't even figure that out.

dude, today conte looked like the accidentally-white-striped-cat at the end of a pepe le peu cartoon where she finally decided she wants pepe, however he finally sees her for how ugly she really is, and he tries to accelerate away while the manic cat goes ZOOOMMMM determined to catch him.

That's the vibe i'm getting with conte. it's like he's at the end of a cartoon trying to catch pepe le peu, who even in desperation still has a modicum of style.

anyways, i'm fucking flabbergasted. this game broke me. you get FIVE CONSECUTIVE FUCKING DRIVES OF 4TD/1FG PRODUCTION FROM YOUR **BACKUP** QB AND COME BACK FROM 7PTS DOWN NO LESS THAN 3 TIMES, EVENTUALLY GETTING A FG, A SUPER MEGA UBER ULTRA RARE STOP, AND THEN *ANOTHER* TD TO GO UP.... ONLY TO GIVE THE BALL TO WASHINGTON WITH 3:45 AND PROCEED TO WATCH THEM FUCKING WALTZ DOWN THE FIELD DINKING AND DUNKING TO AN EASY GODDAMN MOTHERFUCKING ROY GODDAMN FUCKBALL UUUGHHHHHHH HELUUUU TD (yes friends, in my flagship league i've got RG3/morris, and i finally had the stones to say no to 4 straight games of ~13pts from RG3 to sit him and ride morris, who i had backed up with helu prior to this wednesday when i stashed ellington for death.

pardon me whilst i go eat some led chips and watch luck/decker combine to get 40+ and give me a L this week for not starting RG3
