I thought he just cut and pasted the top Sox prospects listed in the recent rankings of each league. It's not like he wrote any opinion or thoughts. Just straight cut and paste.

So, you believe he was providing a service for Sox fans? Do you think he would do the same if the Sox had the highest ranking guys? He was trolling so now he gets reminded of Corey Patterson and Felix Pie. He should control his obsession.

Here Joe let me help you out with a definition.

ob·ses·sion (b-sshn, b-)
n.
1. the domination of one's thoughts or feelings by a persistent idea, image, desire, etc.

So I make ONE post in the White Sox shittiest system thread... where I listed the Top Prospects by league as reported by BA...Keyser made a similar post in the prospect section about Engel but then he stopped posting any updates

I made ZERO posts in the White Sox minor league prospects section...

YOU a WHITE SOX fan have made 37 posts in this section alone on Cubs prospects.... Can You say OBSESSED SOX FAN????? 37 to 1

Anyone who thinks that all the Cubs prospects will make it are either stupid or insane.... on the other hand anyone who thinks EVERY CUB prospect is the next Patterson or Pie is equally if not more stupid or insane.... Pick a lane JOE!!!!!!!

The FACTS are only 19% of all draft choices ever get into a Major League Game ...but YOU knew that didn't YOU Mr. KNOW IT ALL.....

Go back just five years and look at the Top 20 prospects in the Southern League ...again courtesy of BA

#1 Clayton Kershaw ...OBVIOUS BUST right JOE
#2 David Price ..another complete failure..... how did they ever rank him #2

in fact all 20 guys ranked five years ago have played in the bigs.... so while SOME STUPID/INSANE OBSESSED SOX FAN focuses on the one or two guys that made it to the Show but did not star... guys who worked at BA and ranked those same players have ended in front offices through out baseball... those writers must have been IDIOTS ...RIGHT JOE????

So put aside our Napoleon Complex...your Second City Syndrome...your Penis Envy and tell us how you really feeel aoout the state of YOUR WHITE SOX system and how it is far superior to the Cubs system...give us your years and years of watching baseball experience and tell us why Almora, Baez, Soler and Bryant will fail... tell us how many times you went to Kane County to scout them... talk about your years on the back fields watching the kids ...How you just KNEW that those TOP WHITE SOX prospects of the 90's would be better than Patterson and Pie...you remember guys like Johnny Ruffin. Scott Ruffcorn Jason Bere, Chris Snopek and the ULTIMATE prospect Mike Caruso.

I will sit down and wait for my answer....

BTW.... Let the record I was a White Sox season ticket holder for over 10 years.

Over in The White Sox 2013 draft thread Keyser was nice enough to post the Baseball America draft re[port card for the Sox ...here is the BA Cubs draft report card... you can now read both reports and compare the views.

QUICK TAKE
Bryant was too good for the pitching-starved Cubs to pass up. They went for volume with their pitchers thereafter, with Zastryzny likely to help soon and Clifton the biggest wild card.
Bonus Spending: $11.1

Position Players
Best Pure Hitter: 3B Kris Bryant (1) spread out at the plate this spring, keeping his head still and lower while reducing his overall pre-swing movement. That cut down on his swing-and-miss tendencies, and he hit .336 in 128 at-bats in his pro debut. » Best power hitter: Bryant’s showed his top-of-the-scale raw power all spring, hitting 31 homers to earn BA’s College Player of the Year award, and as a pro, as he hit nine homers and slugged .688. » Fastest runner: OF Carcer Burks (9) turned in 6.5-second 60-yard times in a predraft workout. OF Jacob Hannemann (3) isn’t as fast out of the batter’s box but flies once under way. » Best defensive player: Hannemann could stand to add polish, but he outruns his mistakes in center field. C Will Remillard (19) got a $150,000 bonus mostly for his catch-and-throw skills, with his arm being his best tool.

Pitchers

Best Fastball: Six-foot-7 RHP Scott Frazier (6) tops out at 97 mph and sits in the 94-96 range, but right now he doesn’t generate many swings and misses. LHP Rob Zastryzny (2) sits at 90-91 but adds and subtracts, throws strikes and gets many more swings and misses in the strike zone with his heater. RHP Trey Masek (5) has touched 95 with life. » Best secondary pitch: RHP Tyler Skulina (4) stands out for his hard, late power slider in the low 80s.

Odds and Ends

Best Pro Debut: Bryant helped Daytona win the high Class A Florida State League title, hitting .350 in the playoffs. RHP Zack Godley (10) helped Boise reach the short-season Northwest League finals, going 2-0, 2.03 overall with 28 strikeouts in 27 innings. » Best athlete: Hannemann redshirted for Brigham Young’s football team as a 6-foot-1, 195-pound defensive back, then raked in the spring for BYU’s baseball team after having missed two years while serving on his Mormon mission. He’s strong, fast and explosive » Most intriguing background: Hannemann, who also is distantly related to assistant general manager for scouting/player development Jason McLeod. RHP Daniel Poncedeleon (14) signed a term sheet but failed his physical, so the Cubs didn’t sign him. He has been ruled ineligible to return to his college team, though Houston is appealing the NCAA’s decision. » Closest to the majors: Bryant won’t need long at all with the bat; the only question is if he’ll play third base or move to an outfield corner. » Best late-round pick: RHP Trevor Clifton (12) signed for $375,000. He fell thanks to a raw delivery and his green makeup, but his arm strength produces 91-94 mph fastballs and he flashes plus secondary stuff. He needs a lot of polish. » The one who got away: Poncedeleon, as well as C Jeremy Martinez (37), a physically mature, strong-bodied centerpiece of Southern California’s recruiting class.

Shouldn't baseball players be timed in distances of 90 feet?

Baseball is a thinking man's game. It's always held to a higher standard.

Every fielder is asked to run 90 feet at least three times per game and his speed in doing so incredibly relevant to in game performance.

Let's start the scouting revolution here. I want players to be timed 90 feet straight line after a swing, a second time representative of home to second and a third time of first to third.

and they have to start balanced on their heels with toes in the air, otherwise they have no chance of making it to the majors.

C.J. Edwards is MiLB.com’s Pitcher of the Year.

Edwards’ final line on the year, between Low-A and High-A: 1.86 ERA, 1.006 WHIP, 1 HR, 116.1 IP, 41 BB, 155 K.

Previous winners
2005: Justin Verlander
2006: Matt Garza
2007: Ian Kennedy
2008: Jhoulys Chacin
2009: Dan Hudson
2010: Taijuan Walker
2011: Matt Moore
2012: Jose Fernandez

This group certainly seems to be all legit talents.....Right JORR?

I remember reading in one of these threads that OLT was the centerpiece of the deal...... maybe just maybe Theo/Jed/Jason know just a little more than some of the haters are willing to give them credit for.....

Of course JORR will RIP all prospects ... and say this is just another failure
Keyser will ignore anything positive that happens North of 35th street.....

and the beat goes on

They are timed home to first and every other conceivable base combination. The 60 shows their raw speed.

run, run, run from that Olt mistake. Go ahead and make that argument retroactively that Edwards was the centerpiece. I won't even refute, just let it stand on its own.

Now getting to the group, run a quick analysis of the size of the guys you listed. Edwards looks like their little brother in comparison. Enjoy your pitcher of the year who projects to a MLB middle reliever

Oh, and Daniel Hudson!

flat out incorrect.

Edwards was the centerpiece of the deal and always was. Read ANY story on the trade.

And Daniel Hudson was good before he got hurt.

of course he was, of course he was...not Olt, who they had been pursuing for more than a year

Daniel Hudson was traded for, you guessed it, Edwin Jackson. He must have been great to get that haul.

You're staggering. You really wanna go down the who you were traded for = value road?

Again, EVERY analyst was all over Edwards when the trade was made.

Good day, sir
