but he acted like a punk. even though he might not have deserved to be gunned down, its no wonder why he was and why the cops shouldn't be punished

One of the deputies twice ordered Andy to drop the weapon, according to a witness, police said.

The teen was about 20 or 30 feet away from the deputies with his back toward them when he began turning around with what one deputy described as the barrel of the rifle rising up and turning in his direction, police said.

One deputy then fired several rounds, striking the boy at least once, Henry said. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Im not sure an exact replica of an AK 47 can be accurately called a "toy"

The cops SAY they told him to put it down. They are probably telling the truth.

Residents of a Northern California community expressed skepticism Thursday about a sheriff's deputy's decision to shoot a popular 13-year-old boy who was carrying a pellet gun that looked like an assault rifle.

Necessary?

It's nothing like that at all actually.

Some cops now have to struggle with the fact that they killed an innocent kid because they were left with no other choice.

Holy shit! Look at that gun he had.

Step in front of a speeding semi and you're going to die. He made a choice. Don't blame the cops.

im talking about the people complaining. a whole town is up in arms. nobody is even asking why he had a look-alike assult rifle with the common safety markers taken off, AND pointing it at armed cops AFTER being told to put it down AT GUN POINT. exactly like you said, what the fuck else were the police supposed to do? wait for their faces to get shot off?

If I ever have kids, they're only getting Nerf guns until they're 16.

Why did a 13 year old have a "toy" like that and why was he aiming it at the cops?

Cops should have shown a little bit more restraint. Everyone wearing a hoodie isn't a criminal. They should be able to tell if a gun is real or not before killing a kid.

Yep looks like a typical toy gun.

To the eye of a professional it should. That's why they should have waited to identify if the gun were real or not. That kid doesn't have the look of a criminal. The cops were racists. That's the only answer to explain gunning down a kid with a million dollar smile and a toy gun.

I guess this answers the age-old question "What would win between a toy gun and a bunch of cops with real guns."

I used to skip them entirely, but ive come to accept they are like 75% good, and that's better than most other pods.
