who cares. they're in last place, and they're keeping contrares in the rotation. they obviously dont plan on getting on any sort of long winning streak as long as they keep trotting that old cuban out every 5th game

Contreras is pretty miserable, but he's not been the only one. What was once the only strength of the White Sox is quickly turning into a weakness - Vazquez and Buerhle have been stable, but Garland (especially in the last month or so, it seems), Denks and Contreras/Floyd have just been bad.

but contrares is old. id rather danks and floyd (hell even masset) pitch over him right now. look at what happened when all those young guys pitched for the tigers under alan trammal. not saying the same thing is gonna happen, but at least getting those kids some MLB innings gets them learning. starting contrares every 5th game does nothing positive right now

I don't have a big issue if they are concerned with overworking Denks, but I do agree that we think it's insane to not having Gavin Floyd pitching every 5th day right now in a starting role. Let's find out as much about him as possible (or confirm our initial thoughts that he stinks).

I agree, KW was so hard up to prove his trades work, you would thik Floyd, denks and massett would be getting the ball more.
