That was a strange quote, cause it seems to refer to last year's rehab stint--as Mac, apparently, spent the two or three decades prior indulging in various substances. So the "event" from "last year/time" would be ceasing substances and entering rehab? Mac is probably just tired of sitting in the booth with Meatpants 4 hours a day.
