Prior to his enrollment in the OKC School of Homophobic Homoeroticism, KS was one of my favorite posters on the board. Sure, he's an attention whore, but so are tons of other posters around here. At least his brand of attention-whoring was/is often hilarious.

I'd be pretty surprised if it turns out that he's not in his late 30s or 40s. The guy knows way too much about mediocre early to mid-80s pop not to have grown up with it.

That said, I have obviously never met KS and therefore cannot properly estimate the stores of creepiness that lie within his heart. On that matter, I can only say that I once received a PM from him asking if I was some obscure faculty member at Loyola University. Apparently KS had been cataloging personal details I had casually mentioned about myself here and then tried to match them up with academics living in the Rogers Park area. That struck me as a little odd.

So he'll know a lot of names from Facebook and fantasy sports leagues and now he'll be able to match those names to addresses. Why am I the only one that sees potential problems with this? Especially for a guy who is such a mystery. When you include Tall Midget's account of a PM it raises a lot of red flags.

I've never met you but others here could vouch for your existence. You are also not asking for addresses or making jokes about IP addresses. I'm guessing you also aren't putting a profile together and then checking a directory at their place of employment to discover who they are.

It might be odd to you/me /TM/et al but based on experience there's often 1 or more of these catalogers of other members' personal information (PI) on any of these otherwise anonymous internet hang-outs/msg boards/forums/groups. There's even a name for it:

First time encountered this bullshit was on a music fan internet group/email list where it was discovered this one girl had a spreadsheet listing every regularly posting member and what details about them she had gathered from posts and whevever else. When called out about it on "the list" she claimed it was for a book she was going to write, which only made people more uncomfortable. Porn and crazy are two things the internet has done all too well from day one.
