Another great episode of "Let's stir some shit". I listened to this on podcast and I hear one host (Boers) talk as if he was everywhere all the time "Mr. Illini" in covering the team. There were no secrets withheld from him, as far as he can remember. The other host knows he's stirring the shit, and has the perfect foil by asking things like "you're either going to be friends or you're going to talk to lawyers." Their guest, a former college and professional basketball player denying everything written but wait, that's just an opinion, here are the facts.

Clearly, based upon the excerpt read and the interviewee's response, there was an incident where the "star" player was asked to leave the court. But everything else isn't what it really is, at least not the way it was written, or at least how it is remembered "28 years later." Somewhere between "Snake mode" and "Grandpa mode" is the truth. So in one context it means nothing and in another it still means nothing.

Of course, this is how this show runs these days so the close of the interview has Boers speaking for the coaching staff and sharing their displeasure. Remarkable given that those coaches would be addressing something based upon just an excerpt from a book yet to be released. I sincerely doubt coach Henson would have anything negative to say about either of the principals and would suggest that everyone wait to read the whole book.

I'm a pretty ardent defender of the show but that 15 minutes was complete trash. And all on Terry. I just don't understand. They must have something against Bardo.
