I'm not trying to be a dick either, but if people want to let it go, let it go. I think it's pretty fucking disingenuous to make a post about the thing and then when people respond to act as if they're the ones who won't let it go.

Here are the facts. A group of guys that we had all associated with on a message board started their own board. So far, no problem. (I'll ignore the fact that it's pretty much a duplicate.) But then they held a tribunal on each member over here voted yay or nay, often with snide comments. Not cool. And where was Krazy Ivan? Was he in that thread saying, "So silly. Serious question, what are you fellows doing. My God!" No, not a fucking peep. But he sure does have plenty to say to those who were left out or insulted and had the audacity to be slightly miffed about it.

I'll give you my opinion on your sig, but will recognize I could be off base because I wasn't involved with the creation of the other site.

My guess is there was a decision made to limit which members joined at first, as to get the structure and foundation down before a lot of people started posting. If it were something else, I don't think they would have made twitter and Facebook accounts.

Now, as for specific personal exclusions, I won't comment. That's for them to discuss. Just referring to the signature.

Look, I didn't bring the topic up again. But I can't believe that you find it hard to believe that I- or anyone- would object to having people stand in judgment of me/them. This is our community. Not simply bigfan's. You've got guys that posted over 120,000 times. If there was something wrong with this place, they had to have a hand in it. So go back to that board and talk about how this is a dark place or whatever you want to do, but please don't act like I'm some small guy with hurt feelings. I don't give a shit. BF you are killing me. If the Keeping Score thread was a bad idea you could have deleted it early. Same with the nearly 40 page thread from Wednesday. I'm not sure if this is your way of telling me to STFU but it feels like it. That's about 500 posts of mine in 2 days that have been deleted.

The simple answer is yes. See, that board exists to attempt to fracture this community and screw over bigfan. It was made out of spite and that is why they copied this format almost exactly. That is why they don't post here any more and they have convinced others to either post less here or not at all. That board is a detriment to everyone except Keeping Score. If you post over there more than you post here I will consider it a loss for everyone. I enjoy your posts, and I enjoy Hawg Ass's posts, and I enjoy OKC's posts. I expect I'll see much less of them. I don't know why anyone is pretending like it is a good thing that the board is split and people are defecting to there. If that was a different format or even just a basic "Let's be friends" forum it would be different. I post on other forums too. However, I don't post on other sports radio boards. That is the whole point. I know you've laughed condescendingly at me before about it but this is an attempt to fracture the community to spite bigfan. Terry's Peeps basically said so in a few posts though they may have gotten "pruned".

I think it's easy for you to act like this whole thing was no big deal. You clearly weren't targeted for exclusion. I'm not even sure I was targeted for exclusion but I know that others I enjoy and interact with in threads were excluded for things similar to what I do. Oh, but Terry's Peeps said "My bad" in one thread and we should act like it wasn't a big deal. That's why I said that I'd lose some respect for people that post over there a lot. I'm surprised more people aren't offended by it. Now, there are some out there that don't like me, including someone who recently made it clear how much he doesn't like me, and I understand completely why they'd be so willing to jump to a board where my kind can be avoided. Others, who I thought we had a good fake message board friendship not so much.

In reality, I hope that OKC and Terry's Peeps return here one day. I enjoyed their presence before and I hope they don't choose a message board where my style isn't wanted. That would show a lot more than a "my bad we thought your posting style sucked but now we'll let you in and then let Keeping Score ban you in a few weeks".

Keeping Score flat out stated that we would be welcome. But if we were to take him up on that, what kind of people would we be? What you have is like a bunch of guys who all played basketball together creating another game with the express purpose of cutting out a single guy. Now, maybe the guy who they wanted to cut out owned the ball we used to play with, and once in a while he could act douchey, but he's still our fucking friend. I want no part of that new game.
