Who here thought IMU wouldn't have disdain for BigFan? You don't need to agree with him to know there's no respect for either person by either person.

If I see something interesting posted by, say, Hank Scorpion over there, I'm not going to consider not replying because one or more board "creators" did something I may not agree with .... I mean, it's certainly not something to be lauded, but throwing the baby out with the bathwater is just as retarded in its own way.

I don't have a problem with people that want nothing to do with the board, it's not like it's hard to understand why even if I don't explicitly and completely agree with it. I will have a problem with anyone who decides the same courtesy won't be shown to me if I choose to post at one, the other, or both.

No offense, but you are the last person who should get upset about someone judging you. Would you like to explain your "maudlin sanctimony" comment about me on the other board if you are so offended by the judging of others?

I'm going to judge people who decide to do a majority of their posting over there just like I'm sure I'm going to be judged by people like you and boyd for my actions. I still like you both. Boyd clearly doesn't. You may or may not though you often come off pretty judgmental about me.

I just don't like the tacit approval of a board designed to keep undesirables like me out even though supposedly now I'm considered worthy enough even though we all know that Keeping Score hasn't changed his opinion and is just trying to save face. I don't like some of the things that people who stayed on this board do either. It's ok. Enjoy posting on the other board as much as you want.

I fully acknowledge that I came off as an asshat yesterday morning. As the days have gone on, I'm fully underwhelmed by the whole thing. I got annoyed on Tuesday as most of my interactions around here disappeared, and I found myself following that horse abortion of an Obamacare thread more than I ever would have wanted to. It was at that point that I was first made aware of the new place. I didn't do a whole lot of digging around there after that because I was on my way out for the night. By the time I got online again Wednesday afternoon, all hell had broken loose. I don't know anything about posts being edited and whatnot over there, but I do think it's chickenshit that Kid found it necessary to essentially say that they're going to talk shit about folks, and then not leave it there for any of us to actually find out about it. Maybe creating a thread there to try and get discussion going on a topic I was also engaged in here was a bad idea. Unlike some of the outright copied threads, I acknowledged that I got the idea from a Curious Hair thread here. As it got no conversation going there, I deleted it. I was a dick to you. For that, I do apologize. You have long been one of my favorite posters to read. You were doing your thing.

The thing that offends my sensibilities more than anything is that folks over at the new board actually got to the point of damaging real life friendships that have formed over time because of a stupid ass message board. Quite honestly, the only thing I have an issue with over there is that if there were things said, they weren't left to be seen by everyone once they opened up. It's pretty chickenshit if that can't post something to someone's (internet) face.

If I am suddenly verboten here because I dared post on the other board, that says more about you guys than it does me. As I told them over there, I'm posting in both places. Until I get banned from somewhere (which hasn't happened yet), I will continue to do so. If anyone has a problem with that, tough shit.
