uhhhh, that must have been when you lost me for a few mins, which means it was a quick round of throwbacks cuz i only lost you for ~5 mins tops (that'd also explain how the lot of you disappeared for those ~5 mins cuz i was only like ~1min behind with ol girl so when i looked up and you guys were gone i was like YIKES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)
it all worked out in the end tho, and i especially appreciate the ride back cuz man a $40 cab would have been feasible but also would have been $40, which leads one to think "man you know i could go to the continental and hang out til they close down circa ~5am and then waddle back to the metra" but yeah, man, JORR+co were so damn generous to me i was good and liquored up so really i would have just been trying to maintain a buzz that would have completely fucked up my arsenal game today, which by the odd fluke of daylight savings time (seemingly adopted a week earlier in the UK) didn't start til 12:30, which ended up being irrelevant cuz i woke up at like 7:07 with the sins of alcohol past creating an iniquitous sea in my stomach that no coffee/pastry could undo, saving that unholy task for newcastle, whose 2-0 victory over chelsea set up arsenal to finish today's games #FivePointsClear atop the EPL table. jolly good show!
