The injury is very rare in the general population and even among most athletes, but it is a bit more commonplace among those whose job it is to shove very large people out of the way.

Doctors say steroid use and repeated cortisone injections in the elbow may weaken the tendons.

With the way he was playing this year, I could have sworn he was already on IR.

He had about 20 injuries this season. He picked the wrong year to have all of these injuries. Good thing for him is that even if he can't play corner he will be a great safety.

I don't think it means the end of Peanut's Bears career. Maybe it now means they can get him for cheap on a one year deal.

I know he's old and getting worse. But Emery has so much to do for that defense in the offseason. Doesn't have enough draft picks or free agent money to get all the guys he needs. So maybe a cheap one year deal for Peanut is the answer.

I agree Nas. Maybe it's time to make him a safety. Cuz Conte won't be back next year. That's for sure.

He'll do great trying to tackle RBs and TEs.

moving a guy with bad shoulders to safety because he is getting old does not sound like a winning idea

Get ready for a second off season of a vet being insulted by the contract he receives. Hopefully Peanut learned some lessons from the Urlacher situation.

A number of teams will be willing to give Tillman a job.

I thought it was the end of the classic Tillman we all love when I saw he did a ball-punch at the beginning of the game and then had to leave to have his wrist taped from injuring it.

This is another example of why Hub sucks. He said Emery blew the pick on draft day. There were logical reasons for that feeling. Then he issues a mea culpa mid season while those reasons still exist. The Bears needed more young talent at DT and CB at the draft. Two top talents at those positions fell to them but they went another direction. Now, in season the Bears are desperate for help at, you guessed it, DT and CB.

Meanwhile, they signed a veteran OG for a show me contract who has arguably been there best OL all season.

Maybe I will call in on one of Hub's evening shows and see if I can get him to state that he was wrong about being wrong.

He will be 33 in February and coming off multiple injuries. I think he will have a nearly identical situation to Urlacher. The same thing happened to Charles Woodson.

He probably won't play again this year. So, he can sell that he's rested and healed. His injuries were injuries. Urlacher had erosion of skills.

He was still productive when he was in the lineup. Tillman is still an above-average CB when he's out there. Teams will want to sign him.

In the meantime, can Asomugha still play?

I hope so because he'd immediately take over the title of hottest celebrity wife on the team.

I've been watching this season of The Amazing Race and both De Jesus and Getz's wives are absolutely fantastic...even after getting no sleep and being on the road for a few weeks they are both nearly flawless

A ball punching Tillman playing safety next year = better than what we have now.
