Browns is definitely good for catering. The crispiness of the breading keeps it from getting soggy. Also the best tasting when eating cold leftovers later in the night/next day.

In terms of franchise, Popeye's is the best.

Don't people usually have those at their house? Celebrating in a chicken joint seems weird.

I've called Weezy and BooBoo a few times for WYC and Friday Fung. My last crap was about a year ago and a half ago and was directed to Sir Alex Ferguson. Haven't called Fung in a long time.

Made a few MJH calls/emails, usually for Critics and Who Do Ya Love. I didn't care for their call screening process. Every call was like being vetted for a job. A symptom of Mac's overly produced radio mantra. B+B's was nonexistent. Matt merely asks what you want to talk about and you go on the air.

I've made calls to many of the marginal and now defunct sports radio shows:

The Coach and the Kid

Tommy Williams (won a prize for answering a trivia question)

Some of those shitty SportingNews Radio shows that would air at night on the Score.

The Grobber back when he was on WMVP. These were my first calls to sports radio and I was about 12 or 13.

Huh?

Best chain fried chicken around.

Blech .... breaded cardboard .... keep it. Maybe it's good for catering ... it's good for throwing at people you don't like.

Bagels is right ... Popeye's is #1 and it's not even close ... and the bikkits (w/ a little honey) are beyond compare ... it's cracker chicken deniers like you that keep them from proliferating like the Colonel (not bad, just not Popeye's).

I call when they give away cool stuff. Tried a couple of months ago when B&B were giving away something. Had to be the 10th caller. Drinky told me I was the 8th. He was very polite in letting me know. Think he said "sorry buddy."

I won 4 live lobsters from Memelo and Koslowski for answering a trivia question correctly.

My mom once won a big box of Lemon Heads from Bob Collins.

I hope they arrived and he didn't leave them on the plane.

When I was 8 or 9 years old, I called the Eddie Schwartz show on WGN to talk wrestling with Bobby Heenan, Nick Bockwinkel and Rick Martell.

I used to call Murph when he was on evenings. Also would occasionally call JHood when he would work weekends. Never called any of the "big" shows. Not interested in being on hold forever.
I also called Roe and Garry when Rodman kicked the cameraman in the noots. They allowed me to use the word "kiniggets".

The only thing I've ordered from Brown's in the last 20 years.
