Pardon me but I'm having an OKC moment so please indulge me for a bit. Couple weeks ago during board gate , Don Tiny and myself got into a rather spirited back and forth disagreement which then escalated into personal insults initiated by me. While I can't take back the things I said , it was pretty fucking childish ( or a dick move, whichever you prefer) of me to sink to that level . I often accuse the radio personalities to man up and grow a thicker skin when people take shots at them , something I conveniently ignored during the spat in question. Don was gracious enough to sort things out via pm but I felt I needed to do this in front of the board as well. That being said , I'm sorry I sunk to that level .of discourse and hope to never repeat it.

Anyway ... rogue & I had a private discussion earlier ... jeez Claire Daines has a dreadful profile ... anyway ... we had a brief private discussion earlier, and all I will recount is that I felt he owed me nothing in the way of apology or concession ... it's kinda difficult to be mushy about a fist-fuck kind of argument, and it's not as though he did anything that I did not, the semi point being I wasn't out there waiting for rogue to own up to being a jerkoff , the larger point being that I did say that it was appreciated that he felt strongly enough to do so publicly, as well as privately.

That's not to take away from his post ... quite the opposite actually ... organic, unprompted reconciliation is very rarely a bad call to make ... so bully for him to the fullest.

Now that we're here .... let us move on to the point of tonight's homily.

Nobody got raped (God knows I was hoping for it), nobody stole anything from anyone other than (perhaps) BigFan (one technically cannot have stolen from them that which they never had to begin with), nobody lost blood or employment over it. The actual real unfortunate tragedy is that there aren't two boards to enjoy ... it's a loss for pretty much all of us whether it's recognized at the moment or not.

It's a message board, kids.

We're all a bunch of fucking mental deficients that somehow or another came to this board to show everyone how big our sports dicks were, found a good core of folks, and went from there. It's generally terrific ... certainly enough so that the bad times always seem to be left behind.

There are still a few, however, who think their internet point bank is bursting because they won't let it go and keep trying to score off a very dead and over issue. If that's you, stop it ... you look like a fool at this point. If it's not you, don't be a dumbass and encourage others to keep looking foolish. We could all probably use a break from foolish ... not 'jimmypasta' foolish , but 'unreasonably and irrationally bitter and overwrought' foolish ... about something that, really, is a massive nothing for 98% of us.

So, to sum up ... shut up about the other board, concentrate on solving the Obamacare fiasco, your dopey bowling tips, or crying to God above as to why He lets Laurence Holmes broadcast on this earth at 50,000 watts ... you know, the important things.

The problem is you seem to fail to grasp the concept of scope. What is important here isn't important in real life. That doesn't mean nothing is important when talking about the scope of the message board.
