Welp, a new Champion has been crowned. And Jimmie Johnson won the Sprint Cup again too. Gloopan Kuratz ends up 34 points short and third place of the winner, Peoria Matt. Chas getting two Top 5’s is the best anyone can ask for, with PM getting both Top 10.

Anybody who participated this year or any other, is welcome back for next year’s Daytona 500 and the rest of the season. 95 days out on the jayski countdown clock. Thank you for everybody for an exciting season of beatin’ and bangin’ and then the race is on… Congrats to the whole #48 team, they are the best in the business of American motorsports. The Formula 1 teams have just a bit more funding.

A racefan can dream of the Hendrick team of Jimmie and Jeff Gordon going to Formula 1 for a season. If Scott Speed ran run around the back for 9 months, why can’t those two?!? I don’t know if Mr. Hendrick is willing to plunk down a Yankees payroll type number to go racing around the planet for a season.

That is another idea for another day, Kevin Harvick has dreams about his new team next year. A strong finish to his RCR career. Ol’ 8-Time has plenty of great drivers to get through again next season.
