The Zapruder film shows at least 2 different individuals on the grassy knoll moving suspiciously. For years I have heard all kinds of stories about "Zapruder" but it's actually been ages since I watched it. I think Sam "Momo" Giancana was behind it under orders from Castro,who in turn got his orders from Moscow who lost face from backing down from "the Cuban Missile Affair".

Or maybe it was just one lone nutjob? What do you think?

I've used a bolt action... bunch of times and I'll tell ya the first shot is easy but working the action and getting the scope on a moving object is hard as hell, and doing it twice? I don't know.

I watched a doc. where an old-timer replicated with ease the shot sequence with the same rifle. Ever seen the view from bldg.? Just wasn'tt that outrageous for someone of Oswald's skill, which wasn't relatively expert-level, but certainly enough to get the job done.

The thing is the first shot was the worst one, shooting like that under pressure there is noway your aim gets better. Shot 1 totally missed and hit the sidewalk inuring a man named James Teague. I have read a lot on this as well as RFK and Dr King. By comparison this one is the least strange and smelling of a conspiracy. A good place to start is Crossfire by Jim Marrs. If you want I will PM you a couple of decent books on the subject. One other thing that points totally away from Oswald is that he was confronted 35 seconds later by a Dallas Policeman and building supervisor with a bottle of Coke in his hands. Now in those days it was ajo to open one of them plus he was calm and not breathing heavy,anyone would have as he had to come down 6 flights of stairs in that time frame. Oswald was what he said ,a patsy. He was set-up to take the fall. He was not supposed to make it out of the theater. Do yourself a favor do not read Posners book,total bullshit as is this new one that claimes the Secret Service did it on accident.

While I have multiple reasons as to why I believe Oswald acted alone, the clincher for me as to why I don't buy the conspiracy theories is that it is impossible for humans to keep their mouths shut. In order to have a conspiracy you have to have more than one person, and in the case of the JFK assassination you would need quite a few. If one thing has been made abundantly clear over history is that people cannot keep a secret, especially a good one. If there was some cabal put together to pull it off it would have come out long ago. That, and as it has been pointed out early in this thread, the shots weren't that hard to make. And yes, I fired a bolt action rifle before.

We know the CIA had no involvement in planning and carrying out JFK's assassination because it actually worked.

Dudes, 3 shots in 7 seconds at a target moving at 11mph is damn hard to do...
Just working the action and getting your scope on target is very hard... I would struggle with it and I'm a pretty damn fine marksman actually... plus, that Carcano wasn't exactly a nice gun. Kind of a piece of shit really.
I don't deny that it's POSSIBLE, but your first shot is the most likely to be on target, not the third fatal shot, cause you're working the action, looking back thru the scope (finding target thru scope isn't terribly easy either really, especially at a moving target).
Now granted the angle of declination wasn't that bad and the target was quartering away at 11mph, but still at that distance... tough. I had heard that Oswald never tested well as a marksman either.

Not impossible I acknowledge. But it's a one in a million sequence of operation.

Why did JFK want to die? He had a conversation with his wife about how easy it would be for some crazy person to kill him in Dallas and he didn't duck after multiple shots. I'm sure the military taught him better.
