Anyone who spends 45k a year on grammar school tuition should never complain how expensive living in the city is.

I have a feeling his neighbors aren't going to like those black helicopters hovering around the neighborhood .

He lost any Chicago cred he might have had when he referred to it as "North Street".

I'd guess he wanted it to sound like more than it is. He thinks he's so safe in Wilmette. Hasn't he ever heard about Laurie Dann?

One of Steve Dahl's finer moments were his thoughts when that shit was going down.

He can't really escape by moving to Wilmette though.

Right. Gotta go over the state line to make any progress.

Or at least out of Cook County.

That's why I moved to New York.

I love that Will County is conveniently stretched to 183rd and Harlem.

God Bless creative zoning

CPS runs special schools for the rich kids. Maybe Mancow didn't know about those.

Or possibly his kids are just too dumb to get into one.

Or he and his wife made the decision a long time ago and he's just spinning it into a story for his character

One would think there's always enough money to overcome any amount of dumb. Perhaps Mancow doesn't have that much coin.

Probably the real answer right there. It's really quite interesting that in Chicago, where FM talk radio developed with guys like Dahl letting all hang out with almost painful honesty, a guy like Mancow could survive so long when there's nothing real about him.

There are only so many spots in those schools and there are a lot of big men with school-age children. It's not like Mancow is a strong precinct captain or anything.

I doubt that he has tons of money. He was never making Howard Stern money. Yeah, his show was syndicated like Stern, but Stern was in most of the major markets. Mancow was in places like Boise, ID.

Luckily for him, he picked a good character "paranoid of the government guy" and the government played right into that

Only reason he lasted

When he turned into that guy, I pretty much stopped paying attention to him. He was fine making dick and fart jokes, but the paranoid act really got old very quickly.

Don't know how accurate it is but http://www.celebritynetworth.com/richest-celebrities/mancow-muller-net-worth/ has him at 10 million.

That same website says that Stern is worth $500 million.

Again I'm not vouching for them and how they arrive at those numbers is anyone's guess but I don't think that that is an outrageous number for Stern . Didnt he get like 300 million in stock when he made the jump to Sirius ? Of course it's paper worth, how much hard cash he or Mueller have I don't think anybody except their accountants know

Laurie Dann. Damn, I was in fourth grade and not allowed to leave until my mom came and got me. We joked about have a plastic spoon to protect us because we didn't know exactly what was going on. Instead we heard a bunch of hearsay. Good times.
