I put a lot of sugar and cream

Not ten seconds though. Maybe 3 full seconds, which is a lot

My wife has a friend who has worked for Starbucks for about a decade. She always has some weird stories about how people want their coffee.

Cream and equal preferred for me.

I like Peppermint mocha and Irish Creme as far as those flavored creamers go. On the weekends I'll usually have a cup in the afternoon or evening with some Bailey's or RumChata in it. :drunken:

I was standing next to this woman in shock. First I thought it was strange that she would dump out so much coffee out (this wasn't like SB forget to leave room), and then she just stood there letting the sugar flow.

Diabetes anyone?

In her defense, black Starbucks coffee is like drinking an ashtray. Idon't put 10 seconds worth of sugar in their coffee the few times I year I go in there, but I do have to doctor up Starbuck's coffee a lot more than a regular cup o' joe.

I go Dark Roast, lil bit of cream, 1 packet of Sugar In The Raw.

I like to drink coffee, not milk.

Cream & Splenda for me. Splenda is the least dangerous of the sugar substitutes. Avoid Equal & Sweet & Low.

The flavored creamers are the worst.

My mother in law only keeps Hazelnut coffee in her house, which is gross enough, and then she compounds the grossness by using the flavored creamers.

It's called a cafe au lait.

Coffee itself is dogshit. Cream and sugar make it palatable ... have no idea why people drink it other than for the caffeine ... you know what sounds good? A big cup of bitter bean water so hot that it lowers your sperm count.

wow, it's weird to see an old thread with the Man, the Myth, the Legend that is Dewskie. RIP. You were the poster that the CSFMB needed but evidently didn't deserve.

also, i'm not exactly what you'd call a coffee afiocionado however if you get me some of those newschool carnation/international-delight/etc brand creamers it can be a nice endeavor. after years of sporadic instant coffee mornings (which aren't complete without the powder-creamer stuff) my family up and got us a keurig coffeemaker a couple'a christmasses ago and god damn yall, i can tell you that after experiencing #FirstWorldCoffee i don't ever wanna go back to standard instant coffee. Dominick's/Safeway has a type of veritable/compatible k-cup/hybrid that has a soft bottom opposed to the usual single-serve-casing and those Java Delight(TM) brand cups are also really nice, especially if you caught a sale on the International Delight Irish Creme flavour coffee creamer... or hell, Bailey's Irish Creme makes coffee creamer which is also very good.

For awhile I rode #FirstWorldCoffee up into the 2+ cups/morning world, only coming back to earth over the last ~4 months where i've comfortably gotten down to one proper cup in the morning. It's brilliant... you just fill up your cup with bottled/drinking water and dump the contents into the coffee maker, stick in a cup close it up and hit the big flashing button and BLAM, within ~2 mins you've got a nice hot cup of coffee that will be eminently drinkable within another ~3 mins after finishing. and it's really good to the point where i'd literally cringe if i had to go spoon out a few loads of maxwell house instant coffee in the morning, more like the mourning, amirite zo nation?

so yeah tl;dr = RIP DEWSKIE (sorry if you were collateral damage in my epic counter/troll last year) and evidently, having glanced @ the other thread where coffee came up today....once you go black you never go back, that is, unless you're willing to take the scorn from imu head on and cop to drinking a candybar each morning. yeech.

You ladies should just have a nice strong Mexi-Coca-Cola in a glass bottle. Or McDonald's Coke. :bom:

Why do people put fake cream or fake sugar in their coffee? I can understand if its an allergy thing, but otherwise, the hell is wrong with you?
