I heard a rumor that Danny Mac is agitating for a move, but he doesn't wanna formally hand in a transfer request because he's got a 500k "loyalty bonus" clause in his contract. If he were to hit the market though, both WGN.FM and Real Madrid are said to be interested, with the latter clamoring to get an American announcer to pair with Gareth Bale in the hopes of selling more kits stateside.

However, my sources also hear that Score mgmt is a bit displeased with Mac, so a loan to Crystal Palace might be on the books. Can you imagine calling Tony Pulis games for the rest of the season? Methinks it'd be a painful lesson for Mac to learn.

Finfer should have been Macs choice as his partner instead of Spiegel. Addiction ruins lives & careers. Not sure if that is the case with Mac, but it certainly could be. And yea, many PD's wont touch him given his problems & the fact that he is a drama queen diva.

If you think about it, Mac gave Jurko and Spiegel talks shows in the Chicago market. Neither would have been hired without Mac.

If Mac gets healthy and is ready to go ... Mac, [fill in the blank], and Harry seems like a formality at this stage. Especially once WGN buys either 97.9 or 101.1 and has WGN.fm on the actual FM airwaves.

Maybe Finfer and/or a second younger option as the other co-host. WGN has paired a new person just about everyday with Harry since his show started about a month ago, so maybe it will be one of them.

The only question is WHEN can he be on the air again? I eagerly await some alternative to the current options.
