From what you guys say and reading those tweets between Finfer and Terry's kid, Finfer hates Spiegel.

Also, while Finfer was Mac's permanent sub co host, he won't be with Spiegel's cuz Spiegel probably hates Finfer since he knows Finfer hates him. And Larry probably views him as a threat so he won't let him sit with him either. Thus Finfer's stock at the Score is going down without Mac. Nobody has his back anymore.

I wouldn't be surprised if Mac is in contact with Finfer right now telling him what he's working on.

The last time I had a feeling like this was days before Webio blew up, checks bounced, Mike North turned white as a ghost and the FEDS were on the hunt for David Hernandez. So don't doubt me.

FWIW - I think you are right on the money, BD. The tell tale sign for me was when the show was renamed and big voice guy is booming promos for "The Spiegel & Holmes Show". I knew something was up and it was way more than Danny Mac relapsing/sickness...

I don't think Mac HATES Bernsy. Maybe mild dislike. I think he HATES the way WSCR management allows all the minions to mimic his act with none of the talent.

Yeah. The fact that Goff and drinky are allowed to run wild always rubbed Mac the wrong way. Especially Goff's 5 or 6 month relentless attack on Da-Ma-Na. Mac blamed Mitch for allowing that to happen. No doubt in my mind. Mitch really does need to control his bitches.

Did I read Harry is on WGN FM? Did not know that. They recycle these guys like NFL coaches.

i've said it b4 and i'll say it again: Finfer's radio siberia sunday brunch/afternoon shows after the NFL season are just so fucking bland i can be sitting there drinking oberweis chocolate milk and i'll be like "wtf? why am i drinking vanilla milk?" -- finferlandia doesn't have any sort of sports thoughts that capivate me, inform me, or even entertain me. they're just kind of there like he's kind of there because they want someone to provide a local outlet to whatever NBA/national stuff ESPN1000 is doing, you know, scraping the bottom of the barrel for an audience that's captive because they're in their cars and they don't wanna bug the rest of the family by playing Hair Nation on SiriusXM.

I think finfer comes from the technical/board-op side of the radio/glass, so it's no surprise that he doesn't strike me as the most dynamic/capable/quality/etc host out there. i reckon he must be a good dude IRL who mac knows is a good soldier on "Team Mac" (if beardown's theories on the differing factions @ the score are true) who, again much like Beardown pointed out, Mac can "turn out" into a regular host and therefore he'll always have a hookup with somebody in the industry even after his proper broadcasting days are over.

Or maybe mac's just a really nice humble egotistical guy who likes helping people advance their careers and make more $$$ to provide a better life for their family, granted he gets his ego rubbed by being recognized as the kingmaker that he is.

regardless, methinks Mac going with Finfer is a way of saying "fuck all of y'all watch i can do this with him" which actually nicks the plot of "She's All That" if you stop and think about it. And this means that it'll be Mac, Finfer, and Harry if he can't free any of his other soldiers to join him up at "The G"

Yes Finfer is a behind-the-scenes-guy. Not every producer, board guy, or phone operator needs to get their own show one day. It's not even Finfer's voice, which is terrible. He's DeFalco with some kind of angry undersexed chip on his shoulder. What Mac sees in this guy is beyond me to comprehend. This isn't George Washington and Alexander Hamilton. It's Mike Krzyzewski and Pete Gaudet.
