That might actually be entertaining, so no, it won't happen on the Score.

and WHOA hold the phone.... did laurence just say that the saints were excellent last night?

is this the same saints team that didn't do shit in the 2nd half en route to 3 points and one solid late/timekilling drive that ended in the oddest non-FG late in a game that i've evetr seen? the saints were up 17-13 and that ~45yd FG would have put them up 20-13 with ~5-10 seconds left.... so instead of kicking the FG they decide to run a play on 4th and 16, have drew brees run around killing as much clock as possible LOSING 11 YARDS IN THE PROCESS (keep in mind a missed FG = 14 yard loss) and then giving the ball back to ATL for one more play with ~5secs left, albeit with a chance to win the game?

it was bonkers.... and i think the spread started with NO -6 so being up 4pts very well could be the difference between covering and not covering.... and not only that but once again they'd rather give ATL a chance to win the game as opposed to potentially giving them one more play with a chance to tie the game (barring 2pt conversion). it was weird all around.

but hey, laurence holmes: sports expert told me that the saints played excellent football last night so who am i to argue?

According to Larry, the Saints were doing some "really, really cool stuff" last night.

I have a suggestion that I (and maybe others?) would like Matt & Laurence to seriously consider. I know we have had some fun in this thread but let's set that aside for a moment.

There is a valuable part of the mid day show that is, in my opinion, being wasted. Many Blackhawks fans, myself included, think a lot of Jay Zawaski and his genuine hockey passion & knowledge. Why not open an hour or two every week devoted entirely to calls about Hawks/hockey with Zawaski in the copilot's seat? I understand that this is prime Bears season and Mondays/Fridays will be spent primarily on Bears wrap up & preview. However, I can almost guarantee that any time this week that isn't Bears talk will be spent on Rose's knee injury and Bulls trade scenarios... again. Spiegs & Holmes - please give Jay a shot and see what happens. Fans are thirsty for some genuine Hawk talk. Thank you.

There is no way that Obama could have killed Kennedy, because he was still in Kenya.

LoHo: "If I was as big as Braxton I'd be finishing up my minor league baseball career about now."

Yeah, and if I looked and sang like Rod Stewart I'd be fucking a super model right now instead of arguing with a goof named Boilermaker Rick on a message board.
