Or do you work for a decent place that actually values their employees and understands that family time is important and today is going to be a throwaway unproductive day anyway for most people who have to work in half empty offices . Judging by the 75% empty train ride in this morning looks like most folks do have it off . On an unrelated note, it's probably good the train is mostly empty as I have some absolutely heinous gas and am firing at will

I'm working til about 2:30, which is 3 hours less than normal. It is without question our slowest day of the year, and I question why management has us open regular hours. We wouldn't lose a penny in revenue if we were open 7-3 today, but thats not a call I can make.

After work, I plan to head over to Target and pepper spray other people so I can save $40 on a new TV!
