I've never lived closer to danger, but I've never felt safer. I've never felt more confident, and people could spot it from a mile away. And as for this, the violence? I've never seen it more than once a season and I can remember the first time I saw it. If you don't watch for it you miss it. For a while it was on thanksgiving day.

In the 80s, it was on practically every night on one channel or another from thanksgiving to Xmas.
