Nobody told him to sign those fat endorsement deals that will keep his family rolling in it for generations Mike. If having to put on even a decent public I'm a decent guy persona was the price he had to pay for it I don't think that's asking a lot.

He seems like a happy guy to me, but who really knows...Greatest player of all time and take my favorite team to 6 championships. Yeah he can be a miserable prick if he wants.

Maybe at this stage in life, Michael likes the idea of raising another family. Many men wait until they are older to begin a family these days. He's probably better able to raise children today than he was when he was raising the 3 kids he had with Juanita. I hope he enjoys raising however many children he has with his beautiful young wife. He forged a great life for himself and I hope he's enjoying it.

Is being a father of a baby/young child tough at that age? I imagine it has to be.

Hell man, Tony Randall was like 102 when he had his last baby. I'd just be glad to have some lead in the pencil at that age, savvy?

You speak as if he will handle any day-to-day child rearing. If the kid comes to him w/ a problem/crying, I'm sure he'll just open his wallet & toss them a credit card.

His HoF speech was a window into his miserable soul.

it concerns me that bf is trying to convince himself that all of Jordan's material possessions mean some sort of happiness when his public personna clearly says otherwise.

Steve given what we think we know about Mike Jordan do you really think at 50 yrs old hes going to give up the life of leisure big fan described so he can be up changing diapers and 2 am feedings? Considering he was busy building his empire when his 3 other kids were born and raised I'd be willing to bet nannies and Juanita did all of the child rearing in that house. I highly doubt after all this time he's champing at the bit to do it himself at this stage of his life. He still gonna be Mike, golf, gamble, appearances , drinking with his buds . We will see if I'm wrong and he turns into Mike the house husband.

No shit. There's probably a good chance Jordan wouldn't even recognize his daughter if he ran into her in the street.

Just this or what Jordan's life has become?

Yeah, Jordan seems to be living a miserable life.

He owns an NBA team because the league wanted him to own a team, thus lent him the money to buy the team.

does whatever he wants whenever he wants.

Has his latin infused ass model new wife

In his new 28,000 SF house in Miami

His ex wife is gone, his kids are old enough so he doesnt need to deal with her about them

He plays golf with his buddies everyday during the summer

He still does commercials and generates about $50 to $100 mill in revenue

he still has MJ steak houses

and can pretty much do whatever he wants, whenever he wants.

Sounds terrible to me.

Of course BB would tell how you how miserable of an existance it is.

All of that is true, but in spite of it all, does he seem like a happy guy to you? He seems like a small, miserable prick to me. But maybe that's just his public persona.

But who opens his mail? I must know before I form an opinion.

Material possessions are not relevant to what is at the core of a person.

Jordan was a far different guy when he came here 30 years ago. He has made choices in his life that have led him to be the person he is.

And BF, that 50-100 million a year income sure didn't keep him from complaining about having to pay airfare for his sons to attend the HoF induction.

Income aside, isn't everybody far different at 50 than they were at 20?

I believe he is saying the money has changed him. When you live in a bubble like that it probably will change most people. I couldn't imagine dealing with the things he has to deal with daily. I would rather have $5M and be unknown than to have $50M and be famous. How many times do you believe he has pumped his own gas in the last 20 years?

I can't imagine it either and i don't envy him.

Having said that, he has the ability to change the make up of his character.

He does. Problem is everyone around him is afraid to tell him he is doing anything wrong. You lose a little perspective when you're surrounded by people like that. Kind of like the child stars.

There are whole gated communities for rich famous people. Since everyone is rich and famous, nobody really cares. And all their egos are so big it kind of cancels out. Not the worst life imaginable, I guess. Assuming you like golfing.

Agreed.

He needs to get down to the business of finding some people to tell him what the time of day, or in this case his life, really is. I hope he does this.

I have a feeling MJ is doing fine, He does as much or as little as he wants.

It seems to be a good life and the alleged facade seems to be OK too.
