That gives them four points earned in their last five games against eight given away, six within in the conference. I'd say that's not good for their faint playoff push. Robidas is done for the year if not forever. Seguin's out with a concussion, which really defangs that offense. Game is on NBCSN out of market but still on CSN Chicago.

Second Hawks goal tonight, presuming it happens, will be their hundredth on the season, making them the first in the league to 100. It's also the hundredth game of the calendar year. They've won 72 of the last 99. Here's to both century marks.

God, Q laces all his quotes on young players with offensive praise, and then always gives them the backhanded defensive slap. He even did it with Versteeg. I can't stand Q, and I hate his comments even more than his line shuffling.

How come the Hawks don't wear this sweater anymore? These are better looking than the Red, don't you agree? Make these the main uniform with the Red being the alternative.

They got rid of it to make room for the Winter Classic alternate with the beige middle stripe, but then they discontinued that one, too.

The reason I've heard is that McDonough doesn't like to dilute the primary iconography. Bear in mind that lots of people talk about the red sweater as being the best uniform in sports. Is it? I don't know. It's certainly in the pantheon. So with that, you don't want to diminish that with a similar but different uniform. Remember that in 2007 when McDonough was president of the Cubs, he discontinued the blue alternate altogether so that the team would always wear the pinstripes and traditional Cubs logo at home.

I'm fine with no black sweaters. They look good, but not better than the red nor white.

It's the Indian Head as to why they say it's the best uniform. Not cuz it's a red sweater. I just think the Indian head on black looks sharper.

Plus they're the "Blackhawks". Doesn't it make sense that "black" would be the main color?

I guess you can't make the black the main uniform cuz of tradition. But I would. Bulls should be black instead of red as well. Those Bulls black pinstripes in the mid to late 90s were awesome.

By that logic, their logo should be a hawk. Don't mess with it. Everything's just fine.
